I can't understand something ... I mean it's a little paranoid to believe that every single thing bad happening in this world was meant to happen ....

Provoked earthquakes is that what you mean ? :^)

P.S Just heard earlier on the news that a similar magnitude quake was in 1920 (happens every 100 years or so). It killed 150,000 people and the damages were evaluated at 160 billion $.

Man that was crazy, the waves just hit here a few minutes ago but they were unremarkab;e. Strong current but only little 2 or 3 foot waves. I heard oregon and washington will be evacuating some select areas but that for the most part we're all fine here on the west coast.

Has anyone heard what the damage/death toll is?

This earthquake was caused by a deeply buried nuclear device in the ocean planted by the U.S secret services to deflect peoples attention from Libya.

              Arf Arf.

I've got friends out there. They're fine, but I reckon the death toll is going to be massive. There's a load of videos on liveleak.

If you saw a Sheen on that water than it means the Tsunami is winning.

Wow japans like what 60 miles wide in some places and it got hit by a tsunami with a 8.9 quake. I can't even think of anytime there was an 8.9 quake. It's good they have strong earthquake codes but there're limits to that. If china or one of our cities got hit by that we'd probably have skyscrapers and bridges falling.

Yah, when nothing happened at the time they predicted it to hit, everyone was scrambling to find out if anything happened, and they all kept playing live footage of this 1 boat that wasn't tied down properly that was bobbing around in the waves and hitting other boats. So like every news network here was focusing on this boat thrashing around destroying shit but in reality all the other boats that were TIED DOWN PROPERLY were fine and unaffected for the most part. But it was funny because they have a headline blaring "TSUNAMI WARNING IN CALIFORNIA!!!!" And the footage is just of the same boat over and over to make it look like there is damage happening lolol.

CA is fine, some small areas moved off the beach but that's about it.
