i slammed one of my partners hands in the door of a crown vic....i still cant figure out why he put it there. he was writing in pain and i had to open the door back up for him.....instant black and blue

That sucks. I've know people that had to drill their nails, but so far I've come away mostly clean. Every time I've messed up a finger, it's either been off to the side, or it didn't produce a large blister under the nail.

I did this trying to open a roll off garbage hopper. It wasn't cool, not only did I turn black and blu I had a cut on the other side and it wasn't from an edge it was an impact split. My middle finger on my right hand has been a bain to my existence for nearly a week now, but i have to say the prognosis is better now than 2 hours ago....... At least it feeals better......

True dat, I woulda drank more if I had planned my operation, but it was kinda impromptu, so what I guess is a halfpint and a couple a beers will have to do........

Ouch. Last time I did that I actually punched a few holes in the nail while creating the blood blister so it all worked out for me and didn't have to do the sugery. I slammed my finger in a potato spiral cutter with the weight of the motor creating the impact.

I recommend the hole in the nail. It took like forever to grow out though.
