Just wondering if anybody has ever drilled a hole in their finger nail to release the pressure, I just did forgood or bad, as a matter of fact had to do 2. The way I see it, it at least relieved some pressure and may quite possibly save my nail..... anyway anybody ever done it and to what success or failure?
so I smashed my finger pretty bad the other day

I didn't use a drill just the bit and manually twisted it till it hit the blister under the nail. As far as I know they do use small drill bits in a hospital as well, from what I've read. But no it was not under mechanical power....... Also I heated it up and used peroxide before and after said "drilling"Originally posted by f. bandersnatch View PostThey use a hot needle if you go to the hospital. I would not recommend using a drill.

Lol, I'm glad to hear that. I was about to rush in here to state the obvious danger of using powertools to drill into your fingers lol.Originally posted by Bigblue1 View PostI didn't use a drill just the bit and manually twisted it till it hit the blister under the nail. You'll be fine. Sucks though, I hate when I do that.
