Odd thing is only cigarettes in the EU have the very large, very graphic, nasty health warnings on them. Chewing tobacco and snuff only carry the soft warning that snus does in Sweden 'this tobacco product can damage your health and is addictive' I don't really understand why the US government want to label Swedish snus with such harsh health warnings when the years of Swedish research into the effects of snus make the claims unfounded :s

I think the cigs have a newer larger warning on them now too, I'll see later, as I'm gonna pick up a pack of Camel non-filters on my way to band practice.

Wow, that's the first pack of cigs I ever bought, Tom. Loved them. The first one I smoked was a Marlboro Red but I wend straight for the Camel. I used to like the Pall Mall non-filters too, but not as much as Camel. Too bad their snus sucks a big, fat, unclipped one (ha...both Camel and Pall Mall)

I noticed on the recent Cigars in Iran thread, I followed the link posted, and found a link for their cigs, and their packs have pics of diseased lung on them, though a few brands I didn't see it.

Warning labels I would like to see:

"Warning: This product may be addictive. Cancer statistically negligible."
"Warning: This product may not cause cancer."
"Warning: This product goes well with coffee."

Cigs will have the larger warning labels in the US as soon as the FDA crap kicks in July 1st.

I've read several places that cigarette consumption is up in Europe and Canada since they started the huge warnings. Personally I don't care about the warnings that much. I'd still use snus if the whole label just said "cancer" As long as the lid identified the flavor.....

The HUGE warnings are extremely tacky! I know Jaks, etc. are just following the rules, BUT, I wonder if they could get away with having a normal label and then put a huge 'easily-removable' warning sticker over that , exactly what Getsnus does so the warning is in english.

Another good warning would be: "This product may cause growth of facial hair." <--not a problem for me, but I notice all the beards in the ugly pics thread.

That is always the very first thing I do with a can of snus, peel off that pesky warning label. Those labels remind me of a nagging wife (No, not you dear)

Same here. There easier to get off when you take them right from the freezer.

Those Malaysian cigarettes look extra toxic..like nuclear waste or something.
