I understand you all want to go where the money is but you need to make products that will please everyone. Gotlandssnus pretty much drove away my business, I used to use gul los alot, I would use flader los alot, and I would use plain los somewhat too. Now the only thing from gotlands that I will buy is the anis los, and the second you guys discontinue the los and switch the portions to jaks label is the day gotlands looses my business forever

I don't like portions, and rarely ever use them, and I definitely do not want anything with the jaks name on it.

Granted I speak soley for myself and this is my own personal opinion, I am sure others will differ to some degree.

    Just my 2 pennies...
Tx for your comment great to hear all opinions,
As we say in Sweden [the taste is like the butt, splitted!]

Gotlandssnus Buisness idea is to be seperated from the mainstream snus market. and only to work with the higest quality products avalible and with a taste refferens that is differ from others.
we are avare on the fact that our products dosent suit everyone.

We have today 10 products and two nicotine free alternative, instead of making alot of different shorttime products we concentrate on quality in every product we make!
new products comes all the time but we always want to make a serious evaluation on new products so it takes something like 6-12 months for a new product to reach a final market for us.

If I came to visit I might not come back. I could be Gotlandsnus' Token American Taste Tester, though.

Although I suppose then I'd be an illegal immigrant.

Just ordered another roll of Jaks Classing Strong. Good stuff!!! I like the nautical themed can. I guess the only thing I'd do is get rid of the giant warning labels, and maybe make it a different color. Or two toned. These cans are as white as a hospital bed. Or put the Jaks Classic Strong in the Gotlandsnus cans

If you put them in the original Gotlandsnus cans I'll bet the naysayers would like it then. This snus is awesome!!!

I'm with nicodude, but not as strongly. I like Jakobssons, but the problem is I don't use much in the way of portions. I've always been a strong supporter of Gotlandssnus, but without los products there isn't much there for me. I use ~1 tin of portions per month, if that. I use more Swedish Match snus than that, and I'm not even a big fan of Swedish Match.

I still like the idea of keeping the Gotland name as the upscale, traditional product. Use the Jakobssons banner for the "regular" snus, and use the old Gotland tins/name for lossnus, and limited editions.

That's crap... Don't go to CA unless you want your business driven into the ground by unions and taxes...

              lol. True.

Their best bet if they were opening a factory in the US would be one of the tobacco states. North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky... Maybe even Texas. They probably wouldn't mind.

My vote goes to either North or South Carolina, though. So I can drop in anytime with a short road trip.

I spent a week in California. Flew into LAX and hung around Hollywood for a day, drove north in a rental car all the way up to Mount Shasta. Beautiful state.. It really is. But, the PEOPLE there are one of a kind... There were a few nice people there, but for the most part, the people I met along the way were stuck up, better-than-thou, competitive, and catty people who thought the best because they were Californians. Mostly Southern Cali though. This isn't to say ALL of them are like that, but most I met were.

Woah.. It was definitely a different culture of people over there. The Northern Californians reminded me of down south rednecks though.

Hey.. I get it.. I deal with Californians all the time who just spout off the worn out theme of all Arizonans are racist.. Its such BS.. They have no idea whats going on over here..It's their way or the highway but it better not be a CA highway because they don't have the money to fix them..

Here in AZ we are making hard choices to get our state financially back in order and if the people in CA want to keep making blanket statements like that then they can go right ahead.. We are A ok here in the valley..

Hey I hear Phoenix is pretty rough. A friend of mine is an ICU nurse over there somewhere. I've never been but I have been to New Mexico which was awesome, in an eerie, charming, tan and red colored way. Never thought I would like a desert but I must say it intrigued me a lot.

Where at? I'm finishing nursing school right now..

Downtown can be rough but the rest of the state is just plain beautiful.. Pines, steams, mountains, and most impotantly wide open space.. You feel very free out here and I think its just plain killer...

PS- I think one of our towns called Sedona was recently rated the most beautiful place in the US... Here are a couple pics of my drive to school... Don't mind the bird crap on my window...lol..
