That's coming. If there's a perceived benefit from demonizing a product or pitting one group against another group, the statist will find it and exploit it!! Check out SanFranFreako, they're trying to ban gold fish for crying out loud.

YET, the vilest porn and most despicable behavior in front of children is encouraged!!

WARNING: Vile porn and despicable behavior is displayed on this link. DO NOT Click on this link if your at work, or around children. These freaks bring their kids to this event.

This is OK, but having a gold fish is NOT. I don't get it, and never will!!

Well, it's all about money. The government knows this will not stop smokers, or stop the huge taxes from that, but it feeds the anti-tobacco special interest groups, and gives the FDA something more to do, to interfere with our freedoms.
Why don't beer cans have pics of cirrosis, or drunk driving deaths(as someone mentioned)?
Why don't boxes of HoHos have pics of obese children, or diabetic foot amputations?
Well, ciggs is the evil thing today, and drinking and HoHos are PC.
At least they didn't put disgusting(and untrue) pics on smokeless tobacco(yet).

I'm not sure I believe smoking is all that bad. I don't think it's good, but it only seemed to get really bad, when someone realized they could make big profits making it bad. I think it's all politically/exploitively driven.

I work with someone with emphysema who still refuses to stop.

I wonder, though...if the first pack of Marlboros I hid in the back of my sock drawer when I was 15 had a picture of a guy with a hole in his neck, would I have picked up the habit? Maybe this plan WILL work for those first-time teenagers. Then again, I thought I was bulletproof when I was 15...
Probably not, because 15 year olds are both invincible and immortal, and It Could Never Happen To Them.

I was still that way at 19, when I started. Warnings on packs through my smoking career were meaningless to me, except for being a good source of comedy. I had to learn from experience. 15 years into the habit, I could see for sure that the things were killing me softly. That made it easy.
