Nice write up Chad. I'll try it if I see it in my travels, but I won't go out of the way for it. Sounds better than the American crap that I'm boycotting at least. The tins will be an interesting addition to my collection.

So when, if testing goes well, will it be rolled out nation wide. I have alot of friends who like snus but dont know any better than camel or skoal...i only see this as a good thing even if it isnt the snus we are used to.

I still have never had a Camel or Marlboro (USA) snus, This one goes on that list too, although the can would be attractive. They might be smarter than they look bringing out a Half assed snus, At least this one would bridge the nicotine gap a little. I still think they are all wearing their ties too tight though! Amazing how much work goes into trying to rule the market eh?

Capitalism is alive and well by catering to American tastes at inflated prices.

Not much different from best-selling panther-piss beer and non-nutritious fast foods.

Gotta follow the money money money.

Has anyone seen these in actual stores yet or are they solely available online?

As far as I know, they're not yet in brick and mortar stores, only online.

What we were told in Chicago was that the snus would be on sale June 20th at a handful of stores in a few states, along with Buysnus and Snuscentral. But in a stunning change of tactic that is reminiscent of everything Swedish Match NA has done wrong with the General line, they changed their minds and decided to wait on releasing it to the brick and mortar stores. Seems to indicate that they don't have a lot of faith in the product.

I hope I'm wrong, but it looks like our only hope for Swedish snus in US stores is going to be with Rick and the Northerner. It's funny how one guy with zero resources can get snus into hundreds of stores nationwide, but giant Swedish Match with unlimited cash can't even manage to get General into 25 stores across 3 states.

+1 baffling isn't it? Though I would much rather be able to walk into a store and get jaks and thunder than general, so Rick has my full support!!

I prefer General over anything, but if there comes a day when internet sales are a thing of the past then I'll be more than happy to make Jaks Flader my main brand. Especially if it's the only real snus in this country...
