That looks like a pretty good order. A bit limited in flavor style, but you'll be able to compare physical style differences.

Welcome to Snuson derek51! I came to snus from the e-cig....it is only good for the hand-to-mouth process of smoking. It will not provide adequate nicotine to maintain a steady level. The Marlboro and Camel snus you tried are American made....not authentic Swedish snus. With American snus, they are too sweet, and you normally have to spit with those.

Swedish snus are classified as a food product in Sweden....and you don't spit using them. You will, however, taste a good deal of salt from them at first....but you will acclimate to it in about 1-2 weeks, then the flavor will come through. Try a wide variety of snus at first - but do not throw any away that you don't like at first. Put them in your freezer and try them again later. Your tastes will range all over the place at first. What you hate right now, you may love later.

        Hello derek
As deeanne and several others, I also wandered into snus by way of the e-cig.

Good first order, will give a glimpse of what awaits with respect to snus and what it can do for the nicotine beast and the slaying of the smoke monster.

hehe, then you get to start trying ALL the other brands and flavors out there.

        Enjoy!

I tried the e-cig last year. It was neat, but to me it was nothing more than a novelty. The vapor was nice, but even vaping some of the stronger juices I could get my hands on didn't do much to keep my nicotine cravings at bay. I also felt weird about taking out an e-cig and smoking it with other smokers. I'm kinda a shy person when around people who I don't know, so I didn't want to have to explain what I was puffing on to various people, plus it was a pain in the ass when a battery died all of a sudden. Plus it was pretty much the same old hand to mouth experience that smoking gave me, so I would light up right after vaping and no habits were really changes.

Snus on the other hand was a completely different beast. Broke the whole hand-to-mouth habit of smoking, kept nicotine cravings at bay, and no smell, vapor, and my hands were free at all times while using snus (which is great while working), so it was indeed the best choice for me.

Now sometimes when I do things that were always something that I'd smoke while doing, such as taking my dog out for a walk, and I'll think "my god, smoking while doing this was such a pain in the ass." I also don't have to take constant breaks at work to smoke, and I can totally smell smoke on my coworkers who still do smoke when they come in after a cig, and I think "did I smell like that for all those years? That's disgusting!" I'm so damn glad that I'm not chained to the cigarettes anymore!
