That's just about exactly how I do it. My only issue... TOP papers?!?! Ugh, very harsh. I'm a big fan of Club papers. They're from Italy, and very fine. You can read through them if you hold it on a book, and they're gumless. They take a bit more work to get a good roll, but they add 0 taste to the cig. For a paper that's easier to get, I like Rizla Blues. They're pretty fine too, but not like Clubs. They also have gum, but they don't flavor the cigarette much at all.

Yeah, well the Tops were the only thing I had lying around; in fact i found them today in my mess. The Clubs are very nice, although kind of aggravating. Same with OCBs. I haven't tried the Rizla Blues, but I will. Thanks for the recommendation. I have to admit that although stout papers are fun for rolling, they're not so great for smoking.

I would say "ok", especially the new creased ones. They seem a little thinner, and I'm pretty sure there's less adhesive than with the old flat ones.

Others will probably say "bad"

JOBs were always my favorite of the "7-11" papers. I prefer ZigZag, but they weren't so common everywhere. I'm not sure what the availability is now.

Pro tip... Buy double wide papers, and rip them in half. You get twice as many papers for about the same price. Fold the paper in half(it is anyway), lick the crease, then rip it. This will leave a fuzzy edge on the gumless side. Use the fuzzy edge for the gum when you roll with that piece, and it'll stick pretty well. You may not be able to carry it all day, but if you use it immediately, it'll work fine.
