    Toque's Rustica leaves?

    Rustica Leaves - 100 grams

Rustica Leaves - Warning these Rustica leaves have a high nocotine content and are very strong. If you are new to snuff, grind and mix with other milder snuffs.

Ok for the sake of my stupidity can someone explain what exactly these are? Is this ready to sniff snuff or actual leaves that have to be ground up somehow then sniffed? :?

And wtf is "nocotine" - is that like nicotine mixed with octane fuel :?:

I think they are just straight up leaves to grind yourself and probably mix with some other snuff to up the nicotine content. By themselves they are probably a little too strong.

 Interesting. What is the science to correctly grinding down the leaves for this application? Simple as say pinching and rubbing to a certain consistency OR do you need some kind of "tool" to properly do?

I think mostly people use coffee grinders and you can sift it through something to get consistent size.

100 grams... that would make 5-6 cans of some high octane snus.

The Nicotiana Rustica leaves from Toque are really well cured, and makes a tasty snuff. I was very pleased with mine, and have ordered a fair amount for snuff making.

The leaves are ready to grind, and can be done in a blade grinder or preferably ground with a mortar and pestle. So far all I had to do was clean and crush the leaves and sieve the snuff out. I mixed some with berwick brown and it is wonderful.

After speaking with a knowledgeable friend, I will now try adding a very small amount of baking soda, then after further reading on Snuffhouse, I will infuse with some special Spanish brandy I just happen to have handy.

This has a lot of potential, but I have never been hunting down a massive nicotine buzz, and I certainly do not get one from this, although the PH change with the baking soda may do it, although my real reason for the soda is to keep the drip at bay. The raw snuff tastes good, has a real peppery burn, although it produces a noticeable drip.

I think this may produce a real keeper of a home made snuff.

                  LaZer,
"Nocotine" is now nicotine. the "i" and the "o" are too close together for my fat fingers.

The best and easiest grinder is a burr grinder. The control you get allows you to make coarse to fine snuff.

The Rustica leaves are for those snuff enthusiasts how want to grind their own. Rustica is sometimes known as Aztec/Mayan medicine and is a very strong tobacco, so take care if you are trying this for the first time.

There are better ones and cheaper ones. This is the one I decided on:

Thanks for the clarification. I thought that might have been a typo but wasn't 100% sure.

Good to see something a bit different though pop up on your site. Keeps things interesting whether I try it or not.

Just got my generous sample of Rustica leaves from Toque along with some Natural, Lime Toast and Berwick Brown. <--all of those snuffs are GREAT by the way! On to the leaves - After removing a few stems, I put a little bit into my coffee grinder, sieved it through a stretched out pantyhouse and the resulting powder was fine and dry. I had planned on adding scent to this but I think that will ruin it! This 'snuff' is great! I instantly thought of one of my husband's good cigars, the way they smell before they are lit. Just a good, rich, sweet, aromatic tobacco scent! I am going to add a little moisture to this first batch and see if this makes it a little easier to take. I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in grinding their own snuff.

lmao.....or maybe the rustica just made her sexy.

either way I want some......of both.

edit; I just ordered two generous helpings of the rustica leaves from Roderik, and some snuff.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.
