Have you tried taking that type off the back of your thumbnail rather than by pinch?
Seems to give the snuff a chance to swirl in the air a bit prior to entering the nose.
Allows it to coat the inside as it's supposed to rather than flow on past to the sinuses/throat which is what tends to happen to me.

Damn but that was certainly a trial ordering from the Sharrow wasn't it!
The prices from that sale make the hoops jumped thru worth it though. I received an e-mail from Carol stating my order was shipped on the 30th.

I also have a trick of using the inside edge of the cap with the F&T, this one in particular.

Now I must find my other tin of McChrystal's O&G before I lose it!
