Nasal snuff never satifies my nicotine needs (after learning to tolerate chain Claq QuĂ binges ) I do it for the flavor.

Wilson's IDT filling my sniffer as of late.

After several weeks of living on American made snuff I finally got to try Toque Absinthe (thanks Sage :wink

Holy rock my world! You beautiful little silver tin of pure evil!

I am hooked! And from what I understand, this isn't even the best Toque flavor! So from now on, there will be at least one tin of Toque on every one of my snus orders. This week's choice...whiskey and honey. 8)

One is not enough. Unless you are ordering twice a month and buying the 25 gram tins. Put Spanish Gem on the list. Awesome in a can.

          That was actually my plan!!

Spanish Gem will definately be on the list! I've heard so much great feedback on it.

I still don't think I could make it on snuff alone, but it's fun to blow my brains out with! 8)

Glad you finally had a chance to try it

Honestly, the Absinthe is too sweet for me. I had finally put it on my "don't like" shelf. (Doesn't REALLY mean I don't like them, just not as much as the 12 or so in my regular rotation.

Whiskey and Honey was my first and still favorite. I am getting Spanish Gem, along with a few others, tomorrow.

The Absinthe IS sweet, but I love anything with that absinthe/anise/salmiak/licorice flavor. I've been meaning to order a bottle from overseas and chase that Green Fairy!

Understand, why I got it in the first place.

And I loved the snuff, I did. But too strong for every day use. I paused for a moment when I grabbed it, but decided it was WAY better than the Toque cherry. And since it was for Box, I had to let the Absinthe go.

Funny thing, I will probably re order it my snuff order after tomarrow

I just received a mix of Pöschl and Samuel Gawith snuffs. The Pöschl containers are awesome especially Packard's Club.
It's far too early for me to comment on the snuffs themselves, but the SG Apricot confuses me. S.G's website lists Apricot as being a menthol but I don't detect any. Is my nose just that confused?

Just received my Vanilla and Blueberry today; this stuff is just awesome! The flavors are right on, in my opinion; I can't wait to order more. 8) The bullet thing is actually a pretty slick design, although I'm pretty much just opening it and dumping it loose onto the back of my hand. It's working for me at the moment.

Once I get the hang of these, I may break out the dreaded Garrett again and give it another chance. If I grow to like that one, at least it can be purchased everywhere locally, and is dirt cheap for a large tin.

The Samuel Gawiths are pretty mild and the scents linger for some time which is nice. I still haven't noticed any menthol.

That is exactly how I do it, works really well for me.

So happy to have another new Toque fan in the house. Another voice to add to the chorus that sings Toque's praises so highly.

I've got nothing bad to say about the Toque snuffs I have. I very much enjoy them. I was really surprised though at how different the brands can be: Color, grind, moisture, scent, presentation, packaging, and cost.
Right now for me the convenience of the dispenser containers means I'm not using Toque that much. One of these days I'd like to get a proper snuff box but I am concerned about the scents permeating the wood. I have rather finicky tastes and don't see myself being about to stick to just one snuff right now.

My SG Apricot doesn't have menthol either. Gawith Apricot from Poschl does. SG may make a couple different styles of apricot. Their documentation is lacking, so it's hard to say.

Toque is a good quality snuff, I enjoy them a lot. But I don't think they are the best. But they may be the best for your buck. Ordering direct, 10 10g tins is less than $2 a tin. My favorite snuff company I believe is Dholakia out of India, but they have a few I don't care for as well, as do all the snuff companies. Wilsons of Sharrow is another great company and they have a large selection. I also like McChrystals. I also like Poschl, which I think are great for their containers. I am more inclined to grab a Poschl when I am leaving the house because of their neat practical containers. Others have similar containers too. Sitting at the house I'll use any of them. But if this dreaded anti-mail tobacco thing happens, I'll either quit it all, or have to buy over priced Poschl only at the tobacco shop, and General snus at the Liquor Barn. I hope all this doesn't happen, I quiestion this facade of freedom enough already.
