Take a pinch between your fingers, and inhale very lightly as you rub your fingers together to release the snuff.
Hmm, that's the first I've heard about rubbing my fingers together while taking it! I can see how that would help with a super-duper-fine snuff, though. Thanks!
Try the Swiss Chocolate first, its very easy to snuff. At least I haven't been able to hurt myself or anyone else with it yet. All of those are good but McC's Apricot is the one I don't leave home without.

Thank you, thank you! Yes, the Swiss Chocolate had great reviews and sounds absolutely delish! Also that snuffreview site is AWESOME. Thanks to Sage and Snusdog (for his informative post on first page) for providing that link.

yeah well, as you'll find... it's a good technique to use with all snuff. you'll see... and it'll all make sense. you're gonna love it.
I finally got an order of nasal snuff in--and Nicotine Rush is the winner! I went ahead and sampled everything, and it looks like I've been spoiled by the course moistness of the Gawith Apricot Snuff (Poschl). I'd have to say that the Dholakias and the McChrystal's I've ordered are the easiest for me to take. Anyway, here are my thoughts:
Both Dholakias (Swiss Chocolate and Coconut Toffee) are so far my favorites. They're just ridiculously scrumptious!
I can't yet discern any differences between the 3 American Sweets I bought (Society, Honey Bee, and Strawberry), but I can definitely *taste* the sweetness, which is nice. Very dry and tricky to sniff, though.
The McChrystal's Apricot is just TOO...flavored for me. The apricot is overpowering and almost medicinal. I complained about not being able to scent the apricot in the Gawith (Poschl), but I definitely prefer the subtlety of that one--and the menthol is nice, too. Maybe I'll mix the two? I'd hate to mess up the Gawith, though.
And finally, I've mixed feelings about the Molens I got. After the delectable, confectionary Dholakias, the Chocomint I tried left me underwhelmed. The Prins Regent is too...spiced for me, I guess.
Anyway, I'm on the verge of contacting someone at Toque if I don't get my order soon. It's been a week! :x
Average time to the USA is a week. Fastest is 5 days, worst was 16 days. Your order was posted Monday so you should have it very soon. Keep us posted and let us know what you think.
Typical for me for Toque orders directly is about 10 days for me here in North Carolina. Definitely not the fastest service, Nicotinerush, being here in the states took about 3 -4 days. But ordering from Toque directly was definitely the cheapest way, no charge for shipping is nice.
But don't stress it Yummi. If Toque says t is sent, you WILL get it.
I too am eagerly awaiting your reaction to the Toque compared to what you already have tried.
Yeah,McChrystals is kind of an "in your face" flavored snuff, pun intended. I f you like apricot though try Wilsons Of Sharrow Apricot. Its quite a bit milder and more authentic tasting. They have a Peach Melba thats pretty good too. The only flavor I got from the Poshl apricot was menthol and its not a favorite for me,ended up being entombed in a LS tin along with the President another strong menthol!
All the american snuffs taste to much alike for me,just diferent degrees of BBQ or/and sweetness. Other than Railroad Mills Checkerberry that has a wintergreen flavor of Teabury gum. And RR Mills Maccoboy has a rose and mild Latakia scent. Both of these are very moist and heavy. You almost need a snuffspoon for these but they're certainly nice in the nose.
I love the Toque rasberry, but haven't tried the Ozona Raspberry yet. Will do so on my next Nicotinerush snuff order. Last one was Northerner, next one is Toque, and then probably Nicotinerush after that.
I cant make up my mind so Im just gonna try the Whisky and Honey toque. I'm mostly buying to be able to spend my bonus points at northerner but who knows, I may like it.
As I have said over and over, the whiskey and Honey was my first and still favorite. It is a bit harder for newbies, but I didn't have much trouble with it. Just start SMALL, and don't snort it like you would some white powder. You almost just want to breathe it in.
God made two kinds of dogs in this world. You are either a lap dog or a scent hound.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Nasal Snuff. I hope you will find this Guide both helpful and informative. I have tried to pool together information and resources that I have collected over my time using snuff so that you can have them all in one place. ...
I hate peach and tobacco....and don't get me started on apricot. They always end up musty, or perfumy or just rank. Chewing tobacco, snuff, whatever....
I've been using nasal snuff about four years now and I think I've sampled almost everything out there. My go to is usually Poschl Gletcher Prise from...
