The only Kodiak I see at my local stores is Wintergreen, and I just don't like wintergreen. I'd be curious to try their Straight, but have yet to see it. I prefer a Natural style dip the most, though some Straights I thought were really good.

I love Wintergreen (taste always differs)

I'm just in love with Copenhagen Wintergreen (don't really like the wintergreen snus though) I mean it's not my regular.

I picked up a can of Timber Wolf Apple LC tonight. It's been a while since I've had it, so I thought it might be a good switch from TWolf Peach.

If I remember correctly, NonServiam wasn't a big fan, but to me, it's pretty good stuff. It's got a very sweet, candy-like apple taste. If I was a full-time dipper, I couldn't do it all the time, but for as little as I dip it works nicely.

Glad to hear you wasn't disappointed. If you ever head west you can swing by. I'll leave my TWolf Apple stash out by the mailboxes for ya. LOL

            Hahahaaa.

Just go ahead and set it out there. I'll be by sometime to get it.

It wouldn't make a great all-day dip because of the sweetness. But it seems to be a good change up every now and again.

So I had a can of Grizzly Mint and a can of Timber Wolf Peach. Both were about 1/3 empty.

I decided to consolidate and combine them to see what it would taste like.

It's pretty good. A nice peach flavor with a minty background.

I went by the tobacco shop the other night to pick up some Stonewalls for my wife.

I was going to get a can of Grizzly Straight, but the cans they had were all old.

So I picked up a can of Copenhagen Black because I thought the can was cool. Huge mistake. That stuff is terrible.

Had a pinch of Timberwolf wintergreen long cut. Very new to dip, so I can't really form an opinion... but it isn't anything compared to a good plug of Red Man.

Just picked up 2 cans of Grizzly 1900 Long Cut. I really like this stuff. Tastes a lot like Copenhagen Long Cut and about half the price. Doesn't last as long, but I don't want to leave a dip in for an hour anyway.

Took another dip. Timberwolf isn't all that bad, once I get used to the differences between dip, snus, and chew. Though the dating system has me a little confused. It has B141A0723, and by by the dating system given in the forum sticky, it would be February 14, 2011, correct?

They need to start including secret decoder rings in their dip to decypher this crap.

I always look forward to when Black comes up in my rotation. Sure, its tastes strange, but I don't find it objectionable.

Has anyone figured out what the flavor is supposed to be? I have decided on black tea, but I'm not sure.

I thought it was supposed to be whiskey flavored?

It tastes and smells exactly like whiskey to me.

I think I'll stick with Grizzly Straight from now on.

Copenhagen Black used to state on the label that it was flavored with Bourbon. However, the new (current) label does not mention bourbon, or any other particular flavor. I drink bourbon, regularly, and neither the taste nor the aroma of the current Black remind me in the slightest of bourbon.

It definitely has a strong alcohol smell and taste to me.

Weird how we can all get different tastes out of the same product.
