    Squeezy,
The cafe twist sounds really great,
Also good on you for trying diy
Methods of getting your tobacco the way you enjoy it.
They can ban all kinds of things knowledge shall not be banned.

    Ansel,
Cotton boll twist is the driest oral tobacco I've seen ..stout twist aswell.

Thanks tattooer601. I'm afraid I'm too much of a cynical english c*** to woop and hi-five you ... but I would do it if I was american :-)

I have tried Cotton Boll - this one was nicer, genuinely.

It's been an interesting venture this. If snus is ever banned or delivery becomes impossible, there might be a twist out there I could use. Squeezy's twist is the only other valid long term alternative to snus that I've tried so far. I could only use OTs or Picannels for a short period before getting sick of them.

Cotton boll is fantastic - and tastes of a very rich variety of tobacco that's been nicely air cured. It does have quite a sweet taste to it even though it's touted as being plain - as if it's been washed with honey water or something similar. I'm really quite paranoid of any oral tobacco that tastes as if it might contain added sugars as it spends so long right next to my teeth - and although I appreciate the deep flavour I couldn't use it on it's own.

Where can you get Cotton boll? I've looked at Mr Snuff and mysmoking shop - not there.

Yes - they're still shipping it to the UK. It comes from the US when you do order though so takes a while ... not like a Northerner order though!

Well would you believe it. I just ran through all my old e-mails and I've got a password. Yeah!!! I'm in!

Bit expensive at £4.00 a pop.

Not as expensive as mine would be if I sold them!

They're quite big too - you can count one of them as something like 2-3 cans worth of portions.

I just took a photograph of yours and was about to post it here for the lads to have a look but it looks too much like a cat turd as I've already eaten the ends. Still going through it - tastes beaut.

Fact of the matter is ... in the EU - probably most parts of the EU - you can grow tobacco that is useable, pleasurable and not massively difficult to process. And the result can be as good - if not better than commercially available offerings. I'm not looking to sell what I'm growing - but hoping to kindle an interest in nicotine related gardening which is a good wholesome hobby that could save you thousands of pounds if you grow 50+ plants.

                                That is all
