    Exactly!

I need to try some trophy, I don't think I have seen it around here though, I'll look next time I go to the store. Funny thing is that a local grocery store has a waaay better chew selection than any tobacco shop I have been to in my area.

Interesting. I buy a plug of Levi about once a month. Only use it when I'm doing something outdoors (cooking, fishing, yardwork). I never noticed a buzz at all, in fact, once I'm done with the plug, I pop a dip in because my nic level feels too low. Maybe you're biting off a bigger chunk than me. I usually bite off about a 1/2" by 1" piece. Could be the sugar too.

Ever mixed chewing tobacco with bubble gum? It used to be a common practice among baseball players -- most only use dip tobacco now.

Never even crossed my mind... Not sure I could even bring myself to do that. It would make for some interesting looking bubbles though!

I use it mostly outdoors as well, and at work, once in a while during a movie or something where I will spit into a soda bottle. I used to chew all day long before snus, and always had a spit bottle.

I break off a decent size chunk, a good 1'' by 1'' and larger at times, the bigger the chaw the longer the flavor lasts.

I shouldn't have started again though, I was content with snus and happy I quit chew, now I am into it again, already chewed through my last plug and went a bought another one earlier today. Last time I bought a bag of scrap I didn't even finish it, but I can't get enough of the levi plug.

Yes, and using plug tobacco just gives you that nostalgic old-time feel like you're honoring your ancestors or something. I particularly enjoy plug tobacco while watching a Clint Eastwood western.

I get into dip/chew every year during the summer. Something about being couped up with snus all fall/winter/spring in MN makes me want to get outside and spit on some shit. The bug actually hit me about a month early this year, I'm onto my third tin of Kodiak already and some Thunder Coola has been suffering in the fridge as a result. I am eying the free shipping on lilbrown. I'm thinking a 5 pack of Kodiak Wintergreen, and maybe an 8 oz bag of either Stoker's Apple or Black Wild Cherry. Does anyone have experience with either of these chews? What would you recommend? I'm quite experienced with dip, but Red Man original has been the extent of my chew journey, although I do like it.

Never even heard of those to be honest ive been out of the non-snus game for a while though. I've never heard of anyone doing apple as good as skoal. All the other apples I have tried are just terrible. Wild cherry will probably be great or terrible i can't imagine someone makes a kind of good wild cherry.

Edit: shit didn't see how old this post was that got dug up.
