That was me asking about who ownes and runs snuson, Because I received the same message as joe from armin in my notifications inbox and didn't know that this forum was owned and ran by Northerner as he stated and wanted the facts before I went further....

I was debating on how to respond to it or even respond back to armin or post in on here, But joe beat me to the punch....

I just figured he didn't like my constructive opinions and suggestions about shipping and pricing and about being more receptive about being more competitive and lowering their per can and roll cost for us U.S. Customers if they can't lower shipping comment.

I'm not sure about the bashing comment of other shops... What!!! We don't do any stinkin' bashing around here I thought we have discusions and share opinions and views.

In the New SwedishSnus.com Website! - Sep 8, 2010 thread armin Insinuated that we all don't get fresh snus and will cost to get the freshest ever...

His words: We are keeping a low stock to provide as fresh as possible merchandise. Therefore we get daily deliveries from e.g. Swedish Match. I don't know of any other retailer who does that. Differnet people have differnet price sensitivities and some may want to go with the cheapest price possible.

Just my opinion and view.... Not a good way to try and sell your shop to folks by demeaning the product they are getting from different online stores.

I would have hoped he would have at least tried to be competive and offer incentives for U.S cutomers through his store...

So I guess I'm in the same boat as joe... Let's see if they remove this and me.

See, that's what I'm wondering. I didn't see the post in question, but it could be considered good strategy to come on to a competitors site(or one that affiliates with your competitor), and start a bunch of shit. In any case, it's poor form to criticize said competitor on their own forums. I personally don't have a problem with regular users criticizing SnusOn, Northerner, me, or anything else here, but if a business owner does it, it starts to be a problem. I don't like the idea of disappearing posts, but if I'm correctly understanding what happened, I fully support the deletion by whoever did it.

I find this whole stuff kinda silly. Ironically the hookah forums, another pro-tobacco group, are all feuding over vendors and forum sponsorships. All of them have stupid rules like prohibiting mentioning banned vendors, no referencing other hookah forums and no open discussion of other drugs (even constructive discussion).

From what I've gathered the Northerner has a special interest in this forum through the sponsorship program and ownership. While I personally am not a huge fan of the Northerner and their obvious desire to have the largest influence on the internet market, this whole missing post seems shady. I'd like to invite Armin to repost his post again, if he's not banned, so we can get the answers we were seeking in the other thread.

e: I hate conflict of interest and I wasn't too thrilled to find out about Northerner and Snuson. I haven't seen much censorship lately probably because this site is practically dead.

This site is solely owned by Aki, aka Ice, on these forums. Northerner has nothing to do with the content of this forum. The decision to dump the thread was made by the admin of this site after carefull consideration of the content of the poster. I don't feel I or anyone else needs to question the admin of this site. Its solely owned. Whatever it was let it go, we don't need the drama. period, nuff said.

There were others he responded to with short answers but the bulk of his post was more like a flogging of Northerner.

If the post had remained, though, I think a lot of people might end up with carpal tunnel syndrome and it might have backfired on him.

I sent a copy to LX and he can decide what to do with it.

I read the post, and I'll just say I agree with the deletion. I won't get into why I agree, or makes accusations or defenses against any of the parties involved, but I'm satisfied with the result.

There's 2 outcomes from something like that. The accused can take the higher ground, and say nothing, thereby losing by default, or they can get in a pissing match, and everybody loses. Imo, a users forum isn't the place for vendor discussions, accusations, or anything else. If a vendor has a problem with another vendor, take it to them personally. Airing private business in public is poor form, and it stinks like the worst of American politics.
