I take this as they will be paying closer attention to future shipments from them as well.

A bit of advice here is to try to find sellers who don't use UPS. UPS gives their personal customer information to the government, which is an invasion of privacy and unconstitutional.

Edit: Tobacco is LEGAL in the US. We are not breaking any laws by purchasing tobacco. This is insane. It's all about forcing people to smoke cigarettes instead of using a safer alternative so that they can tax us at higher rates.

Yeah, the fact that all packages they process are databased makes it easy to hand
over all information when requested by federal agencies. Privacy, what's that?

Then there are those doing orders through Sweden who get their snus that end
up being delivered by USPS, thanks to the 'Universal Postal Union' which most
countries have signed and have to abide by. This ain't like the US Indian Treaties
that get pushed aside by political clout. The UPU has jurisdiction over most of the
international mail and no country (or state) can pick and choose only the parts of
the agreement they want to follow.

The guy on 118 I had alluded to earlier told me his main tobacco distributor won't allow it; something about a clause in his contract with them. This is something he inherited when he took over the business; being a non-smoker himself, it turns out he couldn't care less since his business is holding its own.

rickcharles606 is hot on the trail of new leads so if you have any shops in your area that might be interested send him a PM.




You might also want to consider the auctions here at snuson... since they qualify for person-to-person exemption of the PACTcrap BS they're still allowed mailing through the USPS.

What is the current status of getting orders from Sweden in Massachusetts? My order seems to be stuck in PA for the last two days. Will I ever get it? It was alot cheaper buying what I did from Sweden instead of Northerner.

I did an order with SC about a month ago.

Ordered on a Wednesday morning and had it that Friday before noon.

But that was a month ago so really have no idea what's going on these days.

Was it shipped UPS?

Yes, it was shipped UPS. It has been "stuck" in PA for two days awaiting something to do with the FDA PPQ... although I was hoping to get it PDQ

Would it be turned back because taxes were not paid to the state? I am gonna pay them as soon as I get my delivery.. honest!

Here's a Catch 22 for you. Massachusetts has outlawed tobacco shipments to the state. Haven't heard that that has been nullified ....... I get around that BS by having mine sent to a UPS Store in a nearby state and pay a $3 handling fee per package.

I'd contact SC asap and find out how they will deal with your problem. My experience (and that of others here) is that SC is very customer oriented so you should get satisfaction once they're aware of the situation.



Hopefully your order will slip through the cracks, though, and you can snus to your heart's content.
