Myself and our attorneys are working closesly with the Massachusetts dept of revenue to figure out a way for us to begin selling there again. However, I cannot give a timeline for when this will occur because honestly, I'm not sure. I know that's not the answer you probably want to hear, but dealing with these states and their laws is tricky business. Most of these laws were written 40 yrs ago, long before the internet or internet tobacco shops. Needless to say, they aren't changing the law, lol. So we're trying to find a workaround. As always, I will keep everyone here posted as to our progress.

"local state law prohibit online sale of tobacco unless you are registered distributor."

"laws were written 40 yrs ago, long before the internet or internet tobacco shops."

          STRANGE!!
Up until PACT, tobacco products of all kinds were mailed...
Prohibiting USPS from delivering tobacco products somehow has extended
the prohibition to other forms of delivery because now there's a trail to follow!!
(USPS, with its volume of mail, does not database 'casual' correspondence,
          including parcels; UPS databases everything.)

Leave it up to the politicos to stretch their fancies to fit their pocketbooks.
In this case they will forgo the taxes they would collect until they can extort
additional fees (they sure as hell don't register companies for free!).

dealing with these states and their laws is tricky business.
Just one of Taxachusett's many mottoes...

              Maybe maybe maybe

I ran into an acquaintance yesterday who runs a combination
              convenience store/mailroom on a fairly heavy-traveled highway
not far from LaSalette Shrine (a well-known area landmark on
Route 118); he does carry Marlboro snus. (And he also does
a pretty good business with booze -- holds regular wine and
              beer tastings.)

After much discussion, he expressed interest in finding out
more about stocking Swedish Snus. The only reservation
he expressed was whether or not his arrangements with
Marlboro would prohibit him from doing so.

Not all bureaucrats in MA are illiterate... some can actually reed and rite!!
It's their consciences that are detached from most noble human endeavors.

Some UPS employees, on the other hand, are pretty much like some of their
USPS counterparts: they need to work at finding something to give a damn about!!

This quick note from Rick pretty much sums up the situation right now in Taxachusetts...
                      Nope, nothing yet.

You see, we have to hold a license in the state of MA before we contact and sell to a merchant in MA.
                      ...
Be patient with us, Mass is being very difficult to deal with. I will let everyone know as soon as something breaks.

                      .
IN THE MEANTIME, WE MUST NEVER FORGET..

Hi everyone, I'm new to this Forum and Snus in general. Have a camel in my mouth right now. So I just got into Snus, trying to quit smoking. I really want to try the Swedish stuff, particularly general white portion. Quickly found out that I can't get shipped to Massachusetts from Northerner, and if go the buysnus.com route, it's like $28 to ship, and I just need a couple of cans to try and see if I like it. I went to a tobacco shop in Harvard Square last night, and all they had were mint flavors and loose. I'm not a mint fan in general. What are my options right now. Anyone near the Boston area have a couple of cans they can part with, I'll pay of course, or maybe someone in the area is placing an overseas order that I could piggy back on.
