Northerner- Why does it take ye over 3 days to ship snus?

I know everyones busy and I know UPS is being a bunch of deuche-bags, but I have been noticing something with my last few orders. When I order, I pay 50$ for the fastest shipping option, 2nd day airmail. Yet I also noticed that it sits "pending" for on average about 3 days before shipping. Why is this? Does it take half a week to put some rolls in a ups box and then label it and send it on it's way?

Am I the only one having this problem? I order in-stock items that are all from the US Warehouse, yet it seems to take a centruy to actually send it out. So if I want to recieve an order in 6 days, I have to pay for the fastest delivery option (like 50$ for me), since at least 4 of those days are just northerner getting it in a box and the other 2 are actually shipping.


Is anyone else noticing this, and if so, is this just a temporary thing that will stop happening once PACT comes through and sales fall? I am just hoping they get my order out before PACT starts, because I don't want UPS to screw me.

Would place a order on Friday, (payday) and then see that it was shipped the following Tue or Wed.

UPS has there dry lube in hand! And they probably will choose not to use it so it will hurt us even more.

But this isn't UPS, this is just northerner. I order on a friday, and it will ship like the following tuesday. I know it's busy due to PACT, but it seems a little execssive that it takes them half a week to just put my items in a box and put it on the truck, no?


Sorry, I love northerner but I am worried they won't get it out untill it's too late and by the time UPS gets ahold of it, i'll fall into the post PACT era.

I know, if you keep enough stock in your fridge the days to ship won't be an issue. Best bet is to order on Mondays mid day and then watch it ship usually the next day.

Yah this order was my big one, I dropped $250 on it and ordered this last monday during mid-day. I figured it should at least be in a box and picked up by UPS by now but it's nearing close of business hours here and still no luck. I am completely out of snus but that's not why I care (I was out because I was broke untill last monday), I just don't want it to get lost in the PACT madness.

59$ actually. And USPS wasn't an option when I ordered it. It seems they have changed their ordering options already.

If not then it would seem everything is getting slow er, I don't know maybe they got tobacco sniffing dogs they are training?????/ That was said in more than jest.... I just find it ridiculous where we find ourselves right now, and not for one minute due I blame blame the northerner, They seem to be the only ones who are tackling this problem head on and they are catching all the flack.... just doesn't seem right to me...... And BTW I've never paid for expedited shipping and always got my shit in good time. Anyway, If I were you I wouldn't check those 2 day shipping options and add $50.00 to my order, Are you crazy son? I placed an order last Friday.
Everything (besides a couple backorders) were shipped out Monday, and expected delivery for part of it tomorrow(Thursday).
The orders were shipped with UPS from US warehouse and Swedish Post from Swedish warehouse.

I'm assuming if I placed the order before Friday they would have shipped Thursday?

Wish they shipped on weekends though. Lol

No still hasn't arrived BigBlue, i'll PM you as soon as it does though. I dunno if the mail is just slow here or what's happening. But this problem has nothing to do with shipping. I love northerner and only purchase through them now, but I was just noticing that unlike anywhere I have ever ordered from, it seems like it takes a long time to get it onto the truck. I was wondering if this was just due to PACT crazyness or if this is just the general policy, as I have not ordered from them for over a year untill recently.

And the reason it was 50$, aside from it being expedited shipping, is that it was a large order. I don't know what shipping technique they use, but I just sent a bunch of boxes from Ohio to CA and they have 50$ flat rate boxes where aynthing of any weight can be put in them and shipped, so likely that is what is being used. Not pissed about shipping costs at all, considering my order was still tax free (TAKE THAT STUPID F@#KING STATE SALES TAX FROM HELL)


Disclaimer: Northerner is leading the front in this post pact world and especially in buying out getsnus and having a US warehouse, they are clearly the market leaders and the future of snus, and their customer service, in my experience, is impecable. They even have a freaking rep that posts on snuson for God's sake. This thread is in no way to be misinterpreted as an anti-northerner/bitching at northerner thread, I was just wondering why it takes so long for them to get it out of their warehouse.

Omg this is getting freaking stupid now. Just checked northerner and they still, after several days, havnt packaged my snus and sent it out yet. please put my freaking snus in the box. You have had long enough. I don't care how busy you are, taking 96+ hours to put a few rolls in a box and give it to ups is outrageous. Please, work on your business model. I want to be dedicated to you but after two orders I feel like the customer is the absolute last of your concerns. Stop trying to take over the market and put my ****ing god damn snus in the ****ing mail.


Edit: I am sick of paying for expedited shipping just to have to wait for 4 days for you people to put it in the mail. I paid 60$ for 2 day shipping, I should not have to add another week to that for you to put it in the box first. Either give me back my outrageous shipping costs or grab one of your two employees and tell them to put my snus in the mail. This is ****ing ridiculous.

Snuscentral shipped it same day? Hold on, I am going to try to see if I can get a refund since they havnt even packaged my order yet. I would much rather have snus central have my money if they can deliver my product in a timely manner.
