      getsnus = first class company.

      now they just need to get a direct pipeline to the manufacturers so they dont run out of snus.

        Always been happy with Getsnus

        When I made my first order for snus 1.5 years ago, it was with getsnus.com At that time they did not have any trial packs like the Swedish retailers did. I emailed them and Bob offered to allow to pick any ten individual cans I was interested in trying for a very reasonable roll price. Since then 90% of my snus orders are with getsnus.com; I only stray when I want to try something they don't carry. Oh, and the one time there was a mixup and my order was shorted, a single email had the problem resolved with no headache on my part at all.

        My fear is not that PACT will put Getsnus out of business but all of us stocking up will. If every snuser in the US stocks a years supply of snus, it will be a long dry year for retailers. I hope they are squirreling away any extra profits this spring.

          I totally agree, I hope snusers will still make purchases to rotate their stock.

          As for me, I'm going to make local and US warehouse purchases, definitely not to the degree I have been for the past few weeks, but probably 2 cans a week local and 1 roll a month from a US warehouse. This rate will keep my stash growing slowly, but also allow for some rotation and for fun purchases like limited editions, etc.

            I would hope that, like any smart businessperson, online snus vendors have anticipated a rush on their merchandise due to PACT, and have ordered extra from the manufacturers to cover the increase in demand. Likewise, smart manufacturers have likely hired extra workers and/or added shifts to increase production. Doesn't take an MBA to figure that out.

              Just thinking out loud here (right!)

              Swedish Match owns getsnus (what I've been told anyways). The way I see it. SM has an agenda. I don't see them disappearing. I mean, just look at us...

                I love GetSnus.com too. The first time the website couldn't verify my age so I called. The woman I spoke to was very nice and asked me verification questions, said the reason was my address on my license didn't match my home address so it didn't work but once we got that straightened out the order went right through. Since then I have ordered more (just ordered again yesterday) and never had a problem.

                I used to use Northerner all the time. The only problem I had with them was orders taking 3-4 weeks to get and occasionally items on backorder, but they always made good and sent them once they came in. It was just the wait that made me switch (and that wasn't Northerner's fault).

                  I hadn't heard there was a connection between GetSnus and SM, but if there is, that's OK with me. And I agree, BPB, SM has an agenda -- any industry leader has to, if they want to stay on top. Most major industries plan five years in advance. I'm sure they're going to do everything in their power to make sure their products reach their American customers. I hope their competitors follow SM's example, and that there is always a wide variety of snus available in the US market. I like some of SM's products very much, and while I'm sure they'd love to have a monopoly on snus in the US, competition is good, and keeps businesses honest and healthy.

                  Oh, and in case anyone hasn't read through this entire thread, let me repeat that I'm a big fan of GetSnus now. They went out of their way to make up for my unfortunate first experience.

                    i had to call them to order from them. after that they were totally cool, put my shit into the system so i could order online. they did mess up my order somehow, i dont really remember how, but they sent me like 3 free cans of loose for it. getsnus is alright in my book. id probably order from them more if it werent for their shitty selection and their tendency to be out of stock.

                      I have read a few times now, doing searches today, that with Pact act, UPS is not going to ship tobacco products along with USPS. And mail of tobacco will be forbidden to be shipped into the States. Not sure if this is all true or not. I posted 2 recent posts on the Pact thread I got from the csnews site.

                        Well I just went to Getsnus and it looks like who ever runs Northener now owns Getsnus. The website looks just like Northerner and all the prices went up as well. This last part is the part that pisses me off cause Getsnus had the lowest prices around. I hope the delievery time is not affected as well cause I would normally get my orders within 3 days from them. I have never had any type of customer issue problems with them... So hopefully the prices and the look are the only things that changed.

                              Hiya, witch. Welcome to SnusOn!

                              I think Northerner's /starting/ to get caught up, but they still aren't where they should be as far as service goes. Buysnus is a good company, but it'll cost a good bit more in shipping to America. I'd say Northerner for a long wait, and cheapest prices, and Buysnus for quickest shipping, but more expensive.
