Northerner/Fedex giving the finger to Eyjafjallajokull

Ordered some lös from Northerner on Thursday.

Selected the 3 day Fedex option but completely forgot that all flights had been cancelled. On Friday when I heard that the flight ban had been extended I resigned myself to the fact that my order may take ages to arrive

I did however keep an eye on the tracking details and watched as it went from Sweden to Denmark to France. Every country had an exception notice due to the flight ban but it still landed on my desk at lunch time today.

I am impressed.

Yep, very impressive indeed. I guess they used a combination of rail, ferry and road to get it here that quick.

Am a bit bummed though about one of my cans of Grov being completely busted. Somebody must have put something really heavy on the package as the lid is completely cracked and there is snus everywhere in the package.

Guess I can't complain too much given the speed at which my package got here.....but it would have been nice if Fedex didn't ruin a can of snus in the process....

Very Impressive, but you know there are at least 3 snusers here from London who use this forum. I am sure if you had been caught out I could have loaned you a few cans anyway.

That may mean snuscentrals article about the icelandic ash slowing down snus deliveries may not be as important as they made it out to be.

Thanks Snusify. Good to know I can rely on my fellow UK snusar if things ever got really bad. Luckily this time around it was more a snus acquisitions disorder type of order. Gellivare has been my lös staple for the last two months so I decided to stock up on Ettan, Grov, General and Gotlans Anis again as well as finally getting round to ordering the LS lös and Skruf extra stark lös. Ps: the crushed can of Grov is still perfectly usable (if only 3/4 full).

I'm ready to give that volcano the finger as well. I work for a tour company and it is my job to manage the reservation and ticketing for hundreds of clients, many of whom are scheduled to or have already flown this week through European airspace. Work sucked today! I also have snus en route from Sweden. I didn't even think about it until you mentioned it karl.
