To me it doesn't sound like it's been lost in the post, she didn't receive any tracking number. I had an order from Northerner using UPS (although by mistake.
I received email confirmation from northerner at 7 February 2010 23:26
The a mail from UPS at 8 February 2010 16:39 with a tracking number and the estimated delivery date.
    It was delivered today.
Though it seems it's been a while since the OP was made so hope it's sorted by now.

For the last 4-5 years I've been doing most of my snus shopping at Northerner. Never had any issues with them, only the postal service.

You always wonder if some customs officer has a snus stash that would make us all green with envy!

            Indeed they do.

Somehow a single can of Onyx got lost between Sweden and my front door.

Ordinarily, I would figure this is just how life works. But I was putting in another semi-big order with them and I thought I should mention it - perhaps saving a fellow customer some pain at the cost of a little extra tape.

I expect to get a note like, "Sorry this happened to you, Sweden is a long way from Nebraska - Things happen, if you don't like it, move to Sweden."

Because, really, that is what I would think if some yahoo from Nebraska complained about losing 1 can from a 41 can order that was shipped half-way around the world in a week's time.

Happily, they understand customer service better then me.

I got a nice note this morning that apologized for my loss and indicated they are sending a new can. Very nice.

I ended up buying a bullet-proof can from clubsnus, because it sounded cool, and I knew I would get it in a day or two and I was really looking forward to trying Onyx.

But Northerner's response ensures that I will end up buying more from them very soon - I am usually so shocked when I am treated well by a company that I feel indebted to those few companies that do so.

              I cannot agree more danielan.
Any problems that have occurred have occurred through the postal service and Northerner have sorted it.
Customer service like that is rare these days and deserves loyalty.

One of my recent Northerner arrived in a regular manila envelope with all of the snus cans loose inside and not wrapped in cellophane (in rolls). And I don't mean that it was in a bubble envelope, I mean there were twenty cans of snus all floating around willy-nilly in a regular paper stock envelope. Get this though: there was a hole in the envelope. And not an insignificant one either, I actually removed the cans by shaking the envelope around over my kitchen counter and shouting "make it rain, bitches."

The amazing thing to me is that none of the snus was lost or damaged in delivery. I have the utmost confidence that any lost or damaged snus would have been replaced no questions asked, I am simply stating my opinion, which is: screw customer service, that kind of luck is deserving of customer loyalty in-and-of itself.

Really, I just wanted to tell you guys my "make it rain" story. The northerner is a solid company, and I would recommend them to anyone.

the only problems I’ve had with northerner well more to the point i use sweedish-snus.com a sub website
is that whenever i order FedEx priority delivery they don’t email the shipment number nor is it attached to any receipt i usually have to ask for it but my orders generally get here without a problem
only delays I have ever suffered from is when something was out of stock though generally not a biggie as i have a freezer draw full of skruf at the mo

I have also found them to be quick and pretty darn helpful in email responses if i have a query

also I have generally noticed it’s not worth paying for the FedEx delivery while testing 2 orders put in on the same day at the same time 1 FedEx 1 Swedish post they both arrived same day but i guess that’s my experience with them

Nightfirez - for UK in my experience Fedex is better. Royal Mail as you know aren't that great when the package reaches this side.

Why not join the UK snussers group on this site mate.

anytime I had any problem with northerner (missing cans, wrong cans) they were super fast at rectifying it. Frank is a good guy who I am happy to give my business to.

Northerner really does seem to be committed to customer service. They accidentally sent me a wrong can, and when I mentioned it they immediately fixed the situation. I was actually a little surprised, because that type of service is unfortunately becoming such a rarity these days. I just went through a one week hassle-fest with another online vendor (not snus). I'll gladly support any vendor that is committed to customer service, Northerner is at the top of my list right now.

The few problems I have had were taken care of promptly. I will say though that I have had much faster delivery service with GETSNUS versus ordering strictly from the the USA warehouse.

Hell my last few orders with Northerner got here in 2 days! TWO days! My last GetSnus order took NINE. I'm not shitting you... nine F'ing days. And it pissed me off. Northerner has been on the top of their game lately and I hope it stays that way.
