    Where did Lucky Strike go?

Anyone know why Lucky Strike disappeared?

It's still listed on Buysnus, but isn't on Northerner :^/

There's been some changes with the BAT brands. Maybe they're changing the catalog. I'd guess LS is a good bit more expensive to produce due to the packaging. I thought it was fairly popular, but maybe not enough so to justify the expense.

      LS

I just checked, and lt's listed by Buysnus, but not stocked.

Taking a snus product off the market for any length of time is suicide, as it forces trial and switching with a rare chance of return. BAT may have prioritized its local markets (SE/NO) over its' Net customers.

If they standardize into plastic (Retro/Pall Mall can), it won't help either.

Not sure myself, but this was posted on Northerner:

        Problems with Lucky Strike
Our supplier is temporarily out of Lucky Strike Portion and Lucky Strike White Portion so we have removed them from our site for now. We unfortunately don't know at this time when they will be back in stock, but will let you know as soon as they are. If you have ordered lucky strike in the last few weeks and haven't received it yet, please contact customer support. We need to know if you want to replace, wait or cancel the Lucky Strike in your order.

Shit, we are already going through this with Knox....what the hell is going on? LS is not one of my faves, but I do like it as an occasional, and I know it is a fave of many here.

                Lucky Strike Snus

A very small bird told me that Lucky Strike may be switching to a used-pouch lid on the can.

Don't believe it until it's in your fridge.

I used my last LS portion last night. The can is pretty cool and I liked the freshness seal. The snus tasted good, and the portions felt good. Hope they get it going again, I would buy every now and again for sure.

I hope they don't do away with LS or their kickass cans! I love those things and they keep the snus the freshest I have ever had.

The only other can that comes close to being that awesome is 1847 (bonus points for the snus catching lid at the bottom) but the flavor, unlike Lucky's, leaves much to be desired IMO.

I'm not a huge fan of the 1847 tin but otherwise I totally agree.

As I wrote in another post I find the Luckies to be one of the best workhorses on the market right now. I would really hate to see them go. My father would too since it has been his daily snus for more than a year.

                        I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I have been meaning to post something like this for a while. It seems that many if not most of the folks hear are x-smokers. I applaud you all in your efforts to become smoke free. However, I have come to snus by a different rout and so I want to share my experiences with all those x-dippers who may be looking at this site for suggestions and direction to get started.
