Ok. I'm boned. Clever me ordered a ten pack of General from SnusCentral Sunday before last. Figured I timed it just right. I've made four or five orders before and every order came exactly five days later. SnusCentral always ships same day. So I figured I'd order Sunday and it would go out Monday. It did.

Then the black hole opened up and swallowed it.

Here it is eight days out and the mailbox is empty. So is my freezer. And the refrigerator. I'm down to the can of Pomegranite I was saving to trade, and half a can of Camel White.

Plan B is to start buying Camel SNUS. I'm scared.

Could it be Customs? How long does that usually take? I can't order again until Friday!

I know everyone says to reasonably expect up to two weeks, but my expectations were set by the clockwork schedule of the first four orders. Now I'm stuck.

Everyone close your eyes and picture snus in my mailbox. Maybe, if we all wish really hard, there will be good news tomorrow!

It seems things are just taking a lot longer to get here from Sweden. I had a similar predicament from Northerner when I picked Swiss post.

Sage and many others will echo my sentiments concerning the recent delays that have caused snus to take a little longer to get to us.

Hang in there, I believe you will get your snus soon!!

I am sure you don't have anything to worry about (except your present lack of snus). What I have been doing now is ordering the basic General items and such from GetSnus.com because I get it in FL in 3 or 4 days at the most. They ship from the US so it is a lot quicker. The only problem is they do not have a huge selection so I got to Northerner or Snuscentral for other items.

PS- If you ever do get anything grabbed by customs, it generally does take a while to find out (a few weeks for me...umm...I mean a friend who had something confiscated from overseas).

My (probably erroneous) understanding is that they have the same supplier as BuySnus, and that they ship from Sweden. At least all my packages have appeared to come from Sweden. And they all have a notice to customs that they can be opened by customs.

Could be wrong though. I think this episode has proven my lack of international shipping sophistication ;-)

Yep. I tried them for the discount for first-time orders. Since then, they've always shipped fast and been easy to use. I imagine I could change to Northerner for the savings, but I'm uneasy about changing boats in midstream. At least until I have a safety supply built up.

I'll have to think about it once I have a mouthful of General again.

When you order your addiction online, always make sure to have a backup plan.

Also, remember, Northerner is now shipping General from their US warehouse, so it should be similar timing to Getsnus.

And like a scratched, broken record. Just build up a supply so you are NEVER ordering when you are about to run out. My minimum is 20 cans on hand. But even 10 cans should get you by no matter how long your order takes.

And Snus Central is no more than an affiliate for Buysnus. You are using Snus Central's front end, but everything else is handled by Buysnus

I'd like to add a can of Ettan. Do you think they have that in the US? Or will adding that queer my order and make the whole thing take another two weeks?

If you're ordering from getsnus, everything you order will come from the US. Getsnus is based in the US.

Gotta love Getsnus if Swedish Match is mostly all you buy (although they have Thunder Frosted now).

They send quickly, as they are located in PA and they also give you free shipping if your order is over $50 (and I believe it is UPS then).

If it is your first order from them, don't forget to click the "Try it free" button and pick a can for only $1 processing. If you order over 5 cans, you get a free "mystery" can of something as well.

Good site, just wish they had some Retro, Lucky Strike, etc, etc.
