Liggett Group will test market snus
06 Mar 2008. Starting in May, the Liggett Group will test market a snus product under its Grand Prix brand.

Grand Prix snus will be available in Portland, Kansas City, Indianapolis, Dallas, Raleigh, Orlando and Columbus. Sweden-based Snusab, a maker of premium snus products, will manufacture Liggett’s new product.

As cigarette consumption continues to decline,

Cigarette makers R.J. Reynolds Tobacco, Philip Morris USA and Lorillard have also migrated to the smokeless category, which grew six per cent last year, according to the Maxwell Report. (pi)

I've never seen Grand Prix anywhere in Florida and tonight I found that Sam's Club sells them a 5 pack roll for $6.79

They also have Camel Frost 5 packs for $17.01

Keep in mind those are Florida prices.

Thanks to Swedish Match and their free General sample, I now really like the General Dry Mini Mint snus! If SM/General developed a mini or regular SPEARMINT portion, I don't think Camel Frost could compete with that! I was pretty happy to see the mini mint available at the U.S. warehouse! On another note...they sell american dip, so in my opinion, they should just go crazy and also carry american dry snuff!! They would be getting MOST of my business!
