BuySnus or Northerner

I usually order from Getsnus because I live in PA and I get my orders the next day. However, I really want to try some different flavors and was wondering whether Northerner or Buysnus was the way to go. Any suggestions?

Either is good. Buysnus gives you points to where you get your 6th roll for half price, and Northerner gives you bonus points for whatever you buy towards bonus items, like general snus, or better stuff if you save them like icetools are whatnot. Both have good customer service, but due to slightly cheaper prices, I usually prefer Northerner.

What he said. If you are ordering a few cans Northerner is a bit cheaper. Rolls, Buysnus seems to have a slight edge. I use Northerner 90% of the time. Buysnus and Getsnus get what's left.

I like Northernern a little better. Always check shipping prices. Buying rolls is not cheaper if you have to have it UPSed.

I still have yet to try Northerner, but I'll probably try them soon just for that very reason. My first snuff experience wasn't that great, but I'm willing to give it another go. I like the fact that you can get almost everything from one place.

Just curious, what was your first snuff?

Sage, it was W.E. Garrett; not the best one to start off with, I know. :wink: It was like sniffing pepper mixed with chili powder. I was also bummed that I did not get any hint of nicotine satisfaction out of that whole messy fiasco. Needless to say, I just decided that it wasn't for me....but with all of the good recommendations for different types of snuff here now, I think I'm willing to try it again.

Luckily, I didn't start with W.E. Garrett, because it might have turned me off of snuff, but now its one of my favorites!

Jason, I highly recommend you try Toque. The Whiskey and Honey is to die for, and have heard really good things about the Champagne, Blueberry, and Bourbon which I am currently waiting for. Many people rave about the toffee, but that hasn't been as good to me as the Whiskey and Honey. But the Toque is perfect for a new snuffer. I have some others that I know I will enjoy one day, but I am simply not ready for them yet.

I just want to say how impressed I am with Buysnus. My package consisted of a roll of Thunder, one can each of Offroad strong original and cranberry. UPS is too expensive for me, if I had to use it I could not snus. I always use the swedish post. My order never arrived. I contacted buysnus because I knew that a member here had a problem getting a orders correct. They initially did not tell me I was SOL but that was what I got out of the email. A week or so later they emailed me to see if my order had arrived. It had not and I politely said no and thanked them for the followup. A few days ago they emailed me to let me know that they were going to resend my order FREE of charge! This is some SERIOUS customer service in my opinion. I'm assuming that my order was just lost/stolen in route.

I 100% recommend BUYSNUS for your purchases (and also using ups).

As for Northerner, I just placed my first order with them today for Odin snus. Would have used buysnus but they were not carrying it.

That is the Buysnus i have come to know and love. I think, perhaps, you were a bit quick to judge. Buysnus will never rush out a new package, as most of the times, it really is just delayed, or got stuck at customs. But, at least in the past, did exactly what they did with you, they followed up again, and once sufficient time had passed, fixed it.

And their website says right up front that they are NOT responsible for lost orders. But they still always do.

I know you don't have much spare cash, that starving student routine, so I am mostly just grateful you got taken care of. But especially with other posts lately, I AM happy to see you post what you did.
