When to lose hope?

Hi there,

I'm a first time snus user. After trying Camel Snus, I thought I'd get me some of the real stuff. So, after some research, and a lot of reading, I put in an order for two cans off of buysnus.com . Everyone has raved about them. So I got the email on Monday that my order had shipped. It's Saturday now, and nothing has come in.

My question is, how long should I wait before I count the shipment as a loss?

I've never ordered anything from them before, and everywhere I read people are always saying it takes them about 4 days to receive their shipment.

Hi, welcome to the forums. I would give it 2-2.5 weeks. I've always gotten mine in a week, but sometimes things happen. It's coming from the other side of the world, with a couple of regulatory agencies thrown in along the journey. I would consider 5 days to be lucky, and expect it to take longer.

Ive wondered this too.

I noticed that my Buysnus orders get here in GA in 4-5 days.

But when i order tobacco from England it takes 7-8 days.

Why such a big difference?

I have no idea. Maybe Sweden's postal system is faster than England's.

My orders have been between 4 days and 4 weeks. Last shipment got caught in customs, took 8 postal days. I'd say wait for 10 days, then email them about the problem.

I know it is agonizing waiting and wondering. I get torn up every time I open the mailbox and my package isn't there. When I'm expecting an envelope it never comes.

I'd say expect 7 business days as the average.

When you read about the 4 day turnaround it's because it is amazing. Most people only bring it up when it's out of the ordinary.

I've had 4 days and I've had 14 days.

You have to account for weekends, time zones, customs, delays. My last order was placed on a Sunday and arrived on a Friday two weeks later.

Don't worry until it's been 2.5 or 3 full weeks.

I hope it doesn't take two weeks. I ordered a trial can from getsnus.com , so that should come in and hold me over until my shipment comes in. My friend also went down to Houston and picked me up some more Camel Snus.

This thread reminds me of why I am now stocking a large amount of snus onhand. No more running out for me thank you very much

Now I have a stock I can reorder regular amounts on a biweekly basis so the cost of each order doesn't spiral out of control. Although now I am finding myself far more ready to pull the trigger on rolls instead of just cans. it's a sickness I tell ya

Step awat from the card. The last thing we need now is fiscal irresponsibillity. snus what you need. don't let the snus nazis redistribute your snus to the unfortunate snusless.
