I do it about twice a year (fly to Sweden), it keeps me with a 200 can surplus. Its not as cheap as you think to fly to Sweden if you don't have an airport close by that offers flights to Sweden, then you need to factor in travel to e.g. Heathrow etc. With all flights, travel, snus etc a 6 month supply costs about £250 - £400 depending on what brands you want. A roll of general is about 350 - 400 SEK (£35-40, around $60 or so) depends where you buy it (no duty free in the EU). If it was just posted it would be a lot cheaper, but the choice available almost makes it worth it.

1,000 miles is better than the ~3k(?) we have here, and you don't have to deal with passports. A quick look shows a flight from London to Stockholm is about £150 round trip. Looks like it's about £750 from here.

UK isn't part of the Schengen agreement, which means we do need our passports to enter other EU countries when travelling from the UK, we can't be refused entry but we still have to travel on a passport to leave the UK and enter another EU member state. A minor point but travel is still ridiculously easy. Also we can bring back pretty much as much snus, booze etc as we want (for personal use ofc).

Sure, we often have access to cheap snus, but you guys have a fairly trivial route directly to Sweden, and can get brands that are unavailable here. I think I might prefer your position. I could visit Sweden once a year, and fill a suitcase with enough snus to keep me until my next vacation.

I've just been calculating this out. It's about the same distance to Stockholm as it is to Tangiers in North Africa from London. There's a couple of hundred miles in it.

Yeah my broke ass has to save every penny. I seem to save by buying enough on sale to make it to the next years sale, always around this time followed by something at Snus central. Next year will be of course the big ten year sale. But the incremental increases are having a big effect on how many rolls I can buy now. That is why it is important to find a core maintenance snus, I have to rotate no matter what, but I have older snus to fill the bill. There never has been just the "one" snuss, never will I guess. I made it well under two a can. 43 dollars a roll is total BS! No way Jose............

Get your total $ per can as low as possible. It is all about the $ per can. I know it is hard to resist a can of that and a can of this, but those cans are over 5 a can, no way to pair down costs that way.
