Northener Shipping Cost....is this real, or is there a glitch somewhere?

Went to purchase approximately $160 of snus at Northener. Subtotal was $285. Where did this extra $115 come from? Then they added tax, another $40. Then they added shipping cost, another $198. Total cost for 62 cans of snus = $512. Is this right? I went to buysnus and got the same exact order for $198. What is the problem? I am a US customer. Buysnus only charged me $41 for shipping. Am I missing something? Sorry if this is a repeat of a different post. I tried a search and did not find anything directly relating to this.

I was looking into snuscentral. I was hoping that they would give me an estimated shipping cost before I had to register. Since I already purchased my snus, I am not going to register just to see what the shipping cost might be. Just think, half a grand to get myself a years worth of tobacco! I guess it would cost me more if I used cigarettes. What should I expect for shipping if I was to purchase 6 rolls from snuscentral?

If you look closely, you'll see those are charges intended for European sales. If you go a little further in the ordering process, those charges will disappear and you'll see the correct charges just before you confirm the order. It's a glitch Northerner doesn't seem keen on fixing, even though it's scaring off customers. I was mortified when I saw the charges, but I figured so long as I didn't confirm it I would see if the right price would finally appear. It did. But it does make you wonder if they don't want us U.S. customers.

And both of my orders since they began shipping exclusively from Sweden arrived in less than a week. I think my last order got here in three days.

Buysnus ships DDP (Delivery duty paid) You should not expect any kind of customs/import taxes etc.

I've ordered a few times from BuySnus. I got a bill one time, directly from UPS. It was like $7 on an order of $150+. Straight to file 13 it went.

I recently sent them a facebook message just to see if I had gotten lucky on all of my orders. They said it is shipped DDP, so everything is accounted for on order and if not it is taken on by them. If it was a simple 7$ though i'd just pay it.
