Went to purchase approximately $160 of snus at Northener. Subtotal was $285. Where did this extra $115 come from? Then they added tax, another $40. Then they added shipping cost, another $198. Total cost for 62 cans of snus = $512. Is this right? I went to buysnus and got the same exact order for $198. What is the problem? I am a US customer. Buysnus only charged me $41 for shipping. Am I missing something? Sorry if this is a repeat of a different post. I tried a search and did not find anything directly relating to this.

I was looking into snuscentral. I was hoping that they would give me an estimated shipping cost before I had to register. Since I already purchased my snus, I am not going to register just to see what the shipping cost might be. Just think, half a grand to get myself a years worth of tobacco! If you look closely, you'll see those are charges intended for European sales. If you go a little further in the ordering process, those charges will disappear and you'll see the correct charges just before you confirm the order. It's a glitch Northerner doesn't seem keen on fixing, even though it's scaring off customers. I was mortified when I saw the charges, but I figured so long as I didn't confirm it I would see if the right price would finally appear. It did.
