general at flying J truck stops

has anyone else seen this? I'm at a flying J in milford, pa for the night and noticed they have trial packs of nordic mint and classic blend. the cashier said they'd just gotten them in tuesday and they weren't in the computer yet, he wound up just scanning camel snus to get a price and still giving me the dollar off coupons that came with the general(bought 2 packs with 10 portions each, total came to $2.96). does anyone know if general is about to try a more aggressive campaign to get these into stores or did I just luck out tonight?

My buddy told me he saw them at a Jewel express a week ago and pretty much bought them out, this is in Northern Il........ So yeah looks like their ramping up........

I'm not sure if they are doing it directly or through a distributor. You may very well be right. I just know Rick has been working very hard to get snus in BM all over the place. That said, he may not be doing the Swedish Match side of things.

I know there are some flying J's around just north of me in central IL. Wondering if Casey's General Store will ever get snus in. Or even shell stations.

There's supposed to be several locations in IL now carrying the new Generals. I'm surprised to hear that they've made it as far east as PA though. It's a good sign that they're stepping up distribution.

I honestly think General could take a huge market share away from Phillip Morris and RJ Reynolds if they market the hell out of their product correctly. What they should really be focusing on is their ettan los which had been renamed snuff for the states. Damn few dippers I know actually use pouches. If they convince copenhagen users that ettan is a hell of alot better for a competitive price they would own the market.

Any idea of exact locations? I've found general in bloomington but only trial packs and cans of wintergreen.....bleck... It'd be nice to find some general white portion or any kind of los around

I don't have a list handy, no. Last I heard it was at 11 different franchise/chains/c-stores, but I'm not sure of which ones or at what locations.
