Well if this new ban is true a clone of Skruf Stark would be excellent, or maybe even General Long Sterk.

It's confirmed. Skruf is banning their products from sale to the EU as SM did.

If you like Skruf and you shop in that special member's only community now is the time to stock up big time.

Or work something out with Americans who want Lucky/LD.... I'm sure they would gladly trade for Skruf/General.

I don't think I'd want to use combustable tobacco again to be honest.

I think my plan will be to keep switching brands to what is left and then when everything's banned it's back to the good old Nicotinell gum for me.

Pipe smoking is wonderful though time consuming and you could debate that it's safer than smokeless tobacco.

I believe so yes. Many pipe smokers live to an old age. Bertrand Russell smoked his pipe for 70 odd years and lived to 97 for example.

i believe its also due to the nicotine from the smoke being absorbed thru the mouth as you dont suck em down like cigs and probably would only fire up the aul pipe 3-4 times a day ? + most pipe tobacco is fine quality .. not made from floor sweepings and whatever else they put in ciggs

i think Bertrand Russell smoked his pipe all day not just 3-4 times...

They must have been inhaling into their lungs, which is a no-no. I have met so many pipe smokers locally all in thir mid-80s happily chuffing away.

Like Pris, I'm going to switch around with what's left, but when it all gets banned start smoking again prior to feeling like crap and quitting. I couldn't quit snus, it doesn't make me feel like crap.

Skruf is produced in the forests of Småland in the southern part of Sweden and fresh water from the forest lakes are used in the production. Only the best tobaccos are used in the making of Skruf and the famous Swedish standards for production of snus are of course being met. Skruf as a company has a strong focus on environmental issues and are working hard ...

Imperial Tobacco, makers of Skruf and Knox
                                  by Guest
Imperial Tobacco is the parent company of Skruf (pronounced 'Skroof' and Knox brands of Swedish snus. Skruf is probably the second most popular snus brand in Sweden and one of the top most popular snus brands in the growing American market.

Skruf was started by two life long friends who saw an opportunity to make a big future for a small product - Jonas Engwall and Adam Gillberg.

Life long friends and entrepreneurs, Jonas and Adam, sat down in 2001 to discuss how they could use their skills gained in the world of finance to build a business in an area they were passionate about.
