Just a followup confirmation. Never received box. I have checked both my front/back doors and with neighbors in case postal service needed to have someone sign for it when I wasn't home during days while at work.

Chad, If you do this again, please adjust the order so I'm not first on the list. I would just feel better knowing it makes it to at least someone before I'm due to receive it. Also, I plan on providing a tracking number to the person after me as I realize some folks may need to be prepared as to the receiving expectations due to my assuming the box is too big for their mailbox?

Nothing personal, I'm just trying to do my part as I know many including myself were excited and anticipating delivery of this for quite some time. It is not your fault the courier and/or USPS F..ked this up and I feel bad because of your generosity in doing this ending up this way.

Chad, I will go first. And I will also provide tracking after me. This just seems crazy that 60+ cans of snus has just disappeared.

LaZeR, if it comes to that, just send the snuff to me. I promise I will just put it away and "hold" it for you. At least until after the actual wedding. See my other comments to you. Somehow, I kinda think you may end up wanting that snuff back.

Wow that sucks guys. Well Chad, thanks for giving it a go. I for one am just thankful you gave it a shot. I see no need for you to try and send out a new box. Maybe we can all just get our own noob box pass together and get to try a bunch of stuff that way. Thanks again man.

Thanks Sage. And I did appreciate your comments in the other thread and yes, feel with our former situations can relate. For now I will be enjoying what I have when by myself and go from there. I will keep your offer in mind.

Also if this was sent USPS parcel post, there is a chance it's still out there in postal mail limbo and will be delivered. It is not unheard of for parcel post to take 3-5 weeks, and if you consider that this was originally mailed during the crazy holiday shipping season, seems it may well show up eventually.

I was actually still thinking of this possibility myself and now that we have a good amount of snowfall, eagerly looking for foot tracks OR vehicle tracks down my 100' driveway each evening I arrive home. ops:

I've asked Chad to remove my name and addy from this box pass. If someone would like my spot please arrange with Chad.

                    Thanks all, especially Chad.

New box forumulated with the rest of my remaining collection, not as big as the first box, list adjusted and going to Christi first (per Lazer's request) with a TRACKING NUMBER, and just to be safe I'm going to the postal service myself, even though we have a new office courier, I'm not taking any chances.

I think this one will hae around 45-50 cans, so I guess the first box getting lost was a blessing in disguise, because I had about 100 cans I was trying to get rid of, so I hope WHEREVER Noob Box 1.0 is, it's in good hands.

 I hope they like snus! I hope even more so that they can at LEAST pronounce it correctly!

I will keep everyone posted. Since Chad is in AR and I am in TX it shouldn't take very long...we will see.

Just one thing I wanted to mention. Was at the post office yesterday and the very nice lady talking to another customer said specifically that parcel post packages simply stop completely if there is snow. She too said that there are times it ca take 3 -5 weeks for one to show up. I almost always use priority mail now. Simply just not that much more expensive in almost all situations.

The only reason I said I thought it was lost was because I mailed out about 15 packages the same day, the rest going to family for Christmas presents (even some overseas), and 14 were received, and that one has not been received.

But maybe it could have fallen into the 3-5 week limbo. I'm still mailing out a new one tommorow, so Lazer - if the other one shows up, you can just add it all in when the new box gets to you.
