I'm figuring I'm pronouncing it wrong, but I call it Option 1 - Eeetan, more of a E sound. I've talked to a few Snuson peeps over Live, and they pronounce it more with a short E sound, so that's why I figured I'm pronouncing it wrong.
All swedes I've met say eht--tan, real hard on the second T, but I have heard both yeneral and general. More of a province thing than a right or wrong I'd guess.
