    Perfect beverage for GES los!

I let a little something get to me today, and slipped up and picked up some brews after over a month of no drinking!

So I decided to get something decent, and picked up a twelver of Sam Adams Summer Ale.

The light lemon flavor of this great ale goes so wonderfully with the citrus in GES! It's like the two were made for each other!

If you get the chance I highly recommend this combo! 8)

    DUDE!

I had that last night. ON TAP!

    It was sublime.

Very nice beer. Surprisingly strong too.

    Good for a strong snus.

Baker tou lucky dog! Draught beats bottles any day! I was very suprised at the quality of the brew. I mean I like Sam Adams, but their Summer Ale is just a little piece of Heaven!

Sam Adams has gotten a bad rap in recent years(well really a bunch of years now) by beer snobs who don't like their success. SA makes a damned fine brew, and it's miles ahead of any big named domestic. You may be able to find better examples of all their different styles, but there's not too many breweries that have as solid a portfolio from one end to the other.

This recommendation may seem like it only applies to Minnesota snusers, but bear with me. Summit Extra Pale Ale is awesome with any General brand due to the bitterness accentuating the bergamot and salt, so I would think that would extrapolate to any 'good bitter' or extra pale ale.

Will have to see if they have any Sam Adams Summer Ale around, as I really like Sam Adams too

Might be kind of hard to find this time of year, as I think they've already gone to SA Octoberfest. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't care for Sam Adams... I love a good hopped up beer but I just haven't really cared for too many of them. I don't mind the Summer Lager, and there Winter Ale is decent with a hearty meal.

General los and the Guinness 250th Anniversary Stout last night... mmmm.
