    Newbie Question

New to snus and just got an order of about 6 different varieties in.

My question would be that with portions I know every tin comes with that extra spot on top for placing used portions into.

I like variety, so I was wondiering if it would be feesible for a days use to throw a couple of unused portions of a different flavor in there as long as you used them during the day?

Or are those compartments not airtight enough for such a thing?

That's what I use the extra compartment for. It's not good enough for long term storage, but it works well to carry around for a day.

    Welcome to Snuson! :^)

        Poo-Diddy, welcome to snus on.

The "official" purpose of those compartments is to place a used portion when you aren't close to a convenient receptacle. It comes in handy at times. Especially with a fresh can, I have used it before though to store a different type of portion. It is also convenient to carry non tobacco type smoking materials as well.

Welcome to the wonderful world of snus!!

LMAO, thanks for the welcome as far as the non tobacco smoking materials I will have to abstain for at least the next 23 years or so since that is about how much longer I need to serve before I can retire from the Chicago Police Department with a full pension..

Everyone else has already answered your question, so I'll skip that part.

What varieties did you order/What do you think of them?

            And welcome to Snuson!

Thanks again for the welcomes everyone,

no worries sagedil, where I work and the unit I am assigned (gangs) a little recreational weed use is the least of our worries.

Not that you really gave a crap what some "Pig" on a message board thought about it anyways

                    Actually, I do.

Have a hell of a lot of respect for what you do. Some really bad people you have to contend with. Without you, this world would be a lot, lot worse. Thank you.

Funniest thing, I'm an old Berkeley leftist, arrested 13 times in the mid to late 80's, have done my share of tumbling with the fine men in Blue of the San Francisco police department.

But you represent a whole other part. Y'all really do put your lives on the line every day and we are better and safer for what you do.
