Not a bad idea. I usually just throw mine away, but I've been keeping a few of the "water tight" cans for tinder (fire starting material), since I'm out in the woods so often.

If you use SM lössnus, the paperboard tins would make great fire starters. Fill them with bits of old candle, cotton, and sticks, then light the whole thing to get a stubborn fire going.Originally posted by OregonNativeNot a bad idea. Good idea! I actually have 80 cans of SM lös! Göteborg Rape, Roda Lacket, and Prima Fint. Thanks for the suggestion.Originally posted by lxskllrIf you use SM lössnus, the paperboard tins would make great fire starters. I use a frequency/duration of usage approach when it comes to how much I spend on things. My mattress (what I sleep on) is not cheap. Neither is my computer. I've been snusing for 4 years, and am always disposing of snus throughout the day when I'm at home. So it makes sense to not compromise, in my eyes anyway. They're not too expensive really anyway, and you get a free black with every patterned one.Originally posted by nnowik360A mudjug would work nice but these are free and if i remember right mudjugs cost $20-40 and thats before shipping pretty expensive for something your just gonna spit in

I'm with you, worth the price in the long run.Originally posted by VulpesI use a frequency/duration of usage approach when it comes to how much I spend on things. However if in financial hardiness,
I use a old coffee tin.
Ill buy a mudjug when life's better for now what I have will do.

When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

I've used my empty cans as spacers between stacked electronics like between the components of my home theater system. Just peel off the labels on the Thunder cans and the black cans blend right in with the components. I've also used them to create monitor risers so my laptops slide right under the monitors to save desk space. My wife also uses them to hold beads and other craft stuff. They've got a million uses actually! ;-)
