Snus snatchers!

I've had a couple boxed orders show up with those stickers along with huge gaping holes. Somehow all the snus was still there. Like a miracle! I remember the instant feeling of loss when I first saw those packages.

Yours sounds more like a problem with the automation equipment. Seems to happen
more often with bulging parcels but I've seen perfectly wrapped boxes come through
that look like they've had a bite or two taken out of them. Hungry machines, maybe?

A 'damaged' item will get bagged if it jams the machine or the machine just
'kicks it out' but sometimes, especially with boxes that have holes punched
into them, the machine doesn't catch the damage 'cause the shape of the
box has not changed appreciably. That's when the stickers would be
applied at the delivery end before you receive it.

If it's a scanned item (delivery confirmation, etc) the clerk has a code that
should also be scanned to denote that the package was received in damaged
condition. This information is kept on file for one year, and it helps you if a
claim is filed.

Wow if that really is the missing contents then color me impressed with UPS. They could have just had you file a claim but apparently they went the extra mile to make sure you got your package. Very cool UPS

Well, it was a couple cans of JTI Camel, so unless they liked the sound of Camel tea, I doubt it. I know you're kidding, but my point is that it was obviously a tobacco product.

Should have looked back thru the whole thread but I was so impressed
with the fact he got these that I had not even considered a separate
order. Plus, it seems there's so much concern in numerous threads
about shipping woes that the line is blurring between them.

Thankfully it was the 2 cans of JTI and not the 2 rolls of General
that went AWOL!!

That's my General Long pre-order from BuySnus. Not at all related to the empty envelope. I just feel better about life in General now that they have arrived. (pun intended ;-)

I didn't know the sterk long portions came out.

Doesn't really matter to be since I don't really do sterk portions, just ES los. :P

I got two cans of General Long regular yesterday but haven't tried them. And pulling the warning label off the front pulled some of the coolness off.. Oh well. :/
