If anyone has any expired snus, any old cans they don't want, or a spare/.... could you please send one to me? Customs has gotten my last 2 orders, and they tacked on 15$CAD per can!!! I can't afford that, I've gone over a week cold turkey, no nicotine and I need your help!
Help a brother out?

Is it not allowed in Canada or something? If a private person sent you some wouldn't it still get caught up in customs, or do only purchased goods go through there?

*edited your address out of my quote above*
Well, seeing as we have the same first name, I am wondering if you like Jaccobson's Ice Fruit? I have some left that is of medium moisture (a little lower than I would like) which I am just saving as a super backup incase of catastrophe.
If you like that flavor I can send you some, assuming it doesn't cost me a million $ to ship it to canada, as I live in Northern California.

I have never tried Jakobssons Ice Fruit, however I am easy to please (phantom blue white portion is my go-to snus)
Jakobsson’s is a premiums snus produced from especially chosen raw materials – a mixture of the finest tobacco types collected from all corners of the world. This includes Alida, the tobacco grown on Gotland. Jakobssons Ice-Fruit snus has a soft, fruity taste with a fresh, icy undertone.
Sounds good, I'm more than willing to try.
Cheers!

Yah it has a taste almost similar to frosted but a bit more minty. Not as crapy a minty flavor as general wintergreen or offroad wintergreen though thankfully. A decent snus, average nic. Hey PM me your address again because I didn't copy it. Is it illegal to send snus to canada? Cause i'm not trying to get in trouble for sending something illegal, though I would be more than willing to help someone out as long as it's within the law.

Hey, OP, is it legal to send snus to BC? I don't know all the rules and don't want to send it if it's illegal. I know here in the US it's illegal to BUY some snus from certain distributors but it's not illegal to transfer from one person to another. What is the rule for BC?
I just ask because I don't really know you and you just signed up here less than 15 days ago. I'm always willing to help out a fellow snuser but don't want to break any crazy international snus-smuggling laws (lol @ the fact that those even exist)

Yeah don't pull a Krahv LOL!
I think care packages are fine. Put some socks and cookies in the package with it.

It's legal as long as the customs form is filled out correctly, same as the packages that I get from Sweden. There's no legal way that I know of to avoid paying the applicable taxes and duty. I guess you could obscure the return address, and declare the contents as "portions" or whatever, but they still might open it and want their money.

Obscuring the return address will almost automatically warrant Custom's
opening of the package ... and the post office might refuse to accept the
package without 'fixing' the address.
And don't be so vague with content's description so as to cause suspicion.

FYI, Importing into Canada:
http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/import/po.../menu-eng.html
Here's the tobacco tax by Province. Also add to that the Federal Excise Duty of $2.89 per 50 grams (or portion thereof) and the $5 handling fee along with GST/PST/HST.
It looks to me like the difference in total price per can between Ontario and BC is less than $2. Is that right?Attached Files
