    Romeo Y Julieta

Fancy buying a tin or two of this on my next order.
It's dead expensive but looks interesting.
Anybody have any experience of this? It's cuban so I expect people outside of the U.S are only going to give me a reply here.

I did a search on the forum but I keep getting a 'fatal error'.

We can't get it here in the United States but Romeo Y Julieta is known as kind of a ladies snus. Kind of like something you order for the wife so she doesn't feel left out when you get your package of Granit. It would probably be smart just to throw a can or two with your next order to get her just as excited as you about receiving a big box of tobacco or a new DE razor in the mail.

Mmmmmm, has an underlying taste of alpine strawberries but the quality tobacco flavour shines through. The tobacco has an alkalinity similar to that found in the Gotlands product's alida blend. Doesn't last long flavour wise though, maybe forty five minutes. The tin is beautiful but the portions tend to dry out quick, so if you are only using them once in a while they need to be transferred to a more airtight container. I always add a tin to my Northerner order as a treat.

We have a few reviews here:

I think the overall consensus with the "Cuban" snus was that they're overpriced.

It's been a long time, but going from memory, it's anis, but a good bit milder than Gotland grey. The only thing I remember, is that I don't remember, which is to say I found it kind of unexceptional. Nothing really stood out for me, and I wasn't at all upset that it's unavailable in the USA. I feel the same way, but to a lesser extent about the Montecristo portions. The løs otoh... While I can live without it due to the price, I really enjoyed the Montecristo løs.

I just hate when there is something I can't have.. Like a forbidden fruit. I just want to try it to say I have.
