Paradoxically although consumer product volumes seem to be shrinking the size of portions in restaurants seems to be ever on the increase. In a lot of cases a single order in many places is more than enough for two people. Choking down one of these supersize portions is nearly impossible even for a chubby guy like me. In the case of snus why not just bump the price up a quarter or two instead of skimping on quantity? With shipping as outrageous as it has become even a hefty price increase in the snus itself wouldn't be all that noticeable.

This.Originally posted by pris View PostHave to agree with Bakerbarber on this one. What with the quality issues that have been around for a while now and the now putting less snus in each portion that was the last straw for me. I'm out.
I am still struggling to comprehend how Skruf went from being my go-to-all-the-time-desert-island-snus to being complete and utter rubbish within the space of about a year.
Talk about pissing away your brand values....and giving the finger to your customers

This is nothing new.
A brand works to get to the top of the consumer market, a new guy shows up
and figures he can be more cost-effective (and therefore more profitable),
takes over the company, cuts costs figuring the brand will carry itself
without any additional effort ..................... then tanks!!
Every industry has its own stories of greed taking over and leaving the consumer
in the dust... airlines, autos, entertainment networks, etc.
Just think of all the other products/services you once considered top-notch that
you don't give second thoughts to now.

Getting a little off base here, but you know what pisses me off? When reputable companies sell their name to have junk made under it. We're all familiar with Remington guns, right? They're pretty damned good, and have been around forever. How about Remington pocket knives? They must be good too since they carry the Remington name. WRONG. Remington knives are Chinese junk that someone slapped the name on to make a buck on name recognition. That's only 1 example. I could probably think of a dozen if I put a minute into it. I don't know how a company can sellout their heritage for a quick buck, and dilute the legitimate name they spent decades/centuries building. Disgraceful....Originally posted by snusgetter View PostJust think of all the other products/services you once considered top-notch that
