Variety is good.

So being in Iowa since pact happend i have been limited to General, which never has been a fav, well apart from maybe ES los. Since the fateful pact day i haven't had any sterks.
Yesterday i got my hands on some snus other than General and i have been like a kid in a candy shop. I've opened at least 5 different cans in just over 24 hours.

The ones i opened. -
Offroad longcut WG (never tried and wsa very intrigued)
Onyx
Thunder frosted long (never tried this version of frosted - i like it, probably more than the los)
Jak Icefruit
Thunder ES los

The others i have are -
General Los
Offroad Cranberry
Kronan los (never tried)
Phantom Brown los
Skruf stark los (planning to hold off opening this one for a while)

I'm wondering how many (if any) people here stick to mainly one or two brands or is everyone like me and loves the vareity. I know before pact hit, after trying a lot of different snus i was getting down to three maybe four favorite snus, Ettan los, Skruf los and Thunder Berry or Frosted. Having been restricted to just one brand for a while i now know that the variety is more of a factor than i had realised.

Anyways ... i'm a happier snusser now

I have a variety stashed away in the inner depths of my freezer, and I enjoy dipping into it from time to time, but I pretty much just stick with general, ettan and grov. I mix them together also (loose, of course.) I have found that I can pretty much keep my taste buds occupied with this.

also, if you have become complacent with a flavor, you might try throwing some extract, liquor or even just distilled water on it. It can change the feel and taste of the snus and give you something new. It can also produce foul and unpalatable frankensnus, so be prepared to loose a can or two here and there.

I mostly stick to Gul los. I toss in a few others here and there (and there was that couple of weeks of nothing but Jak's Wintergreen) but I'll go days at a time just using the gul. It's my favorite.

Of course, if I was only able to get and use General branded products I'd go nuttier than squirrel poop and probably do just about anything to get another brand in my lip.

I enjoy the variety now.. My first order pre pact was just a roll of general mint, and 12 cans of thunder extra stark plus 3 random cans. I kind of regretted it because I was bored. General mint is still my everyday snus. My last order was non mint except for a roll of my gen mint and I'm in heaven. I can appreciate all the flavors which I have been rotating. Also I just started with Los. It's amazing the difference in flavor Of ettan portion and ettan Los. With Los it's more pronounced I love it. Add to that I started snuffing as well it adds a whole new world.

My question is in Sweden do they stick to just one brand? I wonder if they like as much variety as we here do in the US (for the most part)? or just stick to one brand day to day.

I can be happy with no other snus but N&J Strong. I get my variety from snuff.

I stick to three brands for the most part: Grov, Skruf, and General. Every once in a while I will order a random can, but I find myself ordering rolls of identical snus to save money.

I tried Nick and Johnny strong white recently and it's awesome. I only ordered two cans so I'm going to use it every now and again. I really wish I ordered a roll at least. The flavor is intense and the nic at 12 mg is perfect.

Definitely variety is good. I have 5 open cans right now but mostly have 3 open at a time. I rotate between 01, 02, Ettan, Grov White and now thanks to VIP have Jakobsson's Ice Fruit and Wintergreen open as well.

I got them before the PACT but I believe they are illegal.

I got one set from General themselves (took like 4 months to get it) and I got a shitload of it from clubsnus.


And Snusdog, I rather be a snus slut than a snus whore. kthx. :P
