Congrats on the los experience, Ettan los is one of my all time favourite snuses (along with Grov). It was the kind I used to try handbaking for the first time and I had some trouble keeping it together too. Its a bit counter-intuitive, but the lighter you pack it the better it works. Also the hillbilly pinch is really easy to master and it ends up being the biggest up front flavour punch too.

Lately I've been using my icetool all the time, its quick and painless.

The Ettan los is awesome I like it better than the general. I actually scored some grov los from
a trade with bigblue which I'll be trying soon. I'll prob try the handbaking again the syringe is my training wheels for now. I'll prob end up buyin the icetool plus that portion can.. They are slick.

I only use portions for special occasions and when it would be a big inconvenience. Although I have been using a little more portions recently because I need to wear down my portion stash a little haha.
