Offroad / Thunder / Phantom - Any good flavors?

So, after reading the forums for a bit, I have determined that not many people like Thunder/Offroad/Phantom (I think the V2 line).

After looking around on some websites, I noticed that there are like 30 flavors of these. I thought, they can't all be bad, can they?

Is there anyone on here who has tried one of these and actually likes it?

So far I have tried:

• Phantom/Rothbrix Blue, White Portion - hated it
• Offroad Licorice, White Portion - OK, but licorice isn't for me
• Offroad Frosted, Portion - thought it was pretty good, though a bit sweet
• Offroad Coola, White Portion - OK, but cola is less good in a snus than I imagined!!

I have, unopened in the freezer:

• Thunder Chrome ES Coola, Long
• Thunder Frosted ES, Longer+

BTW, I thought those last two would be good nicknames to use for those of us who like to give their best friend a moniker. "I have a bit of Thunder Frosted ES, Longer+ at home with your name on it..."

Phantom Blue Lös is good atleast after half a can. The taste is kind of "cool" and Fresh. But i gotta say that the best flavor goes away after 15 minutes and then it's just the "tradional" taste that's left.

For me and IMHO... I really like most V2 products, But and there is a but...

Thunder Frosted Los is way far and above the portions as I really did not like the portions, But I really don't like mint snus at all anyway but Thunder Frosted Los would be my choice and still is...

Thunder original Extra Stark Los is really good as are the portions but the edge goes to the Los...

Phantom Blue Los I really like, But the original portions are nasty, But the white portions are very unique and also in a class as the los and like them alot...

Phantom Brown Los is very very good, But the portions are just plain nasty IMHO

I really don't like Licorice in any snus, so I won't comment there...

Coola does not belong in any snus and is nasty IMHO

Thunder Chrome Coffee supreme and Chocomint were and are the tops of the thunder line IMHO and a pitty they are getting the axe and getting tossed because of the few who don't and can't handle extra sterks and because someone wanted Coffee/ Vanilla back and well! Yeah Whatever

That worked out well We got offroad Coffee supreme instead and I still think Thunder Chrome Coffee supreme is/was way better... Thanks you sterk haters...

To me V2 products blow Gotlands snus sour taste out of the water.... I have not found not one gotlands product I like at all...

Phantom Brown and Blue los are very good...............and in my regular rotation.

Also, the Phantom classic los is a good solid offering............however, there are enough brands that fit the same flavor profile as P classic but do it better............that I generally stick with those................

That said, the entire line of Phantom los is worth a try.

The minty stuff is not really my cup of tea..................so I'll leave that to others to comment on

I can comment on a few...

Offroad Frosted Portion- did not care for it, tasted good for about 10 min the turned bitter, maybe I'll order one can of Los next order and see if its any better
Thunder Coola Portion - Like it for a change of pace now and then but not in regular rotation
Thunder Chrome Chocomint - liked it but not something I would use regularly
Thunder Chrome Coffee - was OK, again not something I would use regularly
Thunder Chrome OT5 - pretty good traditional snus flavor not something I would use regularly
Thunder Chrome Blue - never finished the can, can get over the "windex" flavor
Thunder Frosted Long+ - my go to snus. I love this stuff. Multiple rolls in every order
Thunder Frosted Los - this stuff is the bomb, my first experience with Los, I'm wishing I ordered more, however I only use Los home
Thunder Cool Mint - have not tried but since I'm a mint junkie will be in my next order, unfortunately since I tend to do large infrequent orders to keep shipping costs down its gonna be awhile

I live on Thunder Frosted and Wintergreen. Try their Frosted. It's very similar to the Offroad, but there is a slight difference. The Wintergreen is hit and miss for most people. It's not sweet at all.

The Chocomint is also quite good, but I don't really use it very often. The flavor is great, but it gets hard to stomach when it starts dripping a lot for me.

I agree with you on Cola ones. They completely nailed the flavor of Cola, but I just don't like it in my tobacco.

Frosted Los is one of my daily regulars. Like it with my coffee in the AM.

Just ordered a roll of Phantom Brown los. Never tried it before. Am going to to try it in place of Probe Whiskey as it's like half the price. Hopes I likes it.
