Interestingly enough, the tax line is missing, It did come up when I used my parents address in CA. I'm cautiously optimistic, seeing as it's not the 29th yet.

I can do without tobacco at work, and just use dip or chew at home. I could do nasal snuff at work if I wanted to. If my nasal snuff stash ran out, which it won't as I hardly use it even, I could get some Scotch Snuff at the store for $4 a can, which would last near forever itself.

I just tried GetSnus and every item I added said - item removed, missing tax information

So i guess they haven't gotten WA done yet

Try with a different snus. My first dummy order was for General White and got the same result as you. Changed to RL and it accepted the order.

This has to be a bug in the system, that works out to 182% tax rate in CA. There's no way that's accurate. We all should probably take a deep breath and see what tomorrow brings. Also OR is something like 65% tax on smokeless and nothings coming up on the tax line. So there has to be bugs that are being worked out.

However if it's not a bug, I'd advise all of you CA members to join the VIP club and put all the crap you don't like on the exchange for stuff you do, that would be pone way to stick it to the tax man

I really do believe there is a bug that'll soon be fixed.

Though I haven't bought any there lately, the cans of General that I did purchase locally at the not-exactly-cheap tobacco store in CA were ~$6 each. I'll be curious if the local price changes after the official date.
