this is the knox snus can used in the snus freezer experiment. it had a nice X on the bottom so she made a good container and target.

Brilliant. Get some hollow glass cylinders, fill them with the cans, and stick em around the house. Or use them as legs for a coffee table.

personally, it depends on the canister. i like the swede match cans for snus, but when they're empty, i usually just pitch them cuz they're not that high quality for long term use.

the skruf cans...on the other hand...that's a little better for long term use as a grass container or for holding adapters (i kinda live in a recording studio).

Save them up over the year, put candy in them, and pass them out to small children on Halloween. You got to get them thinking about it early.

They're thick strips of unbleached, untreated brown paper. They come in booklets of 50. You use them to make a mouthpiece or "crutch" that goes in the end of a spliff (or a cigarette, but the only people I've ever know to use crutches are pot smokers). It allows you to smoke the spliff down to the very end without burning your fingers.

    Helpful little buggers, those crutches.

EDIT: TBonehawk got it right, but I didn't see his post prior to responding with one of my own. End transmission.

I was thinking build a square or circular top (kinda like a box but only 3/4" deep - the height of a snus tin), then filling the box with snus cans and putting a sheet of acrylic on top - maybe around 1/4". Circle would obviously be a little harder, but not impossible. It'd probably be about 3ft in diameter and about 4 or so feet off the floor (like a standard bar table that you stand at). It would take a bit of work, but probably wouldn't be too hard or expensive. Personally I'd add LEDs in between the snus cans controlled by some microcontroller just to add some flair .
Ya you got pretty much the same idea as me. Once i save up enough tins I will most likely try something like this. I would really like to get almost every tin that is made for Los snus since thats all I mainly use now. I do have a few portion tins though. I want a good variety of colors/tins in my display. One day I will do this and post some pics on the forum. Obviously not anytime soon, but it will be done.

I just keep the empty tins for keepsakes. I figure they're too valuable to me to just toss. So, they're sitting pointlessly in my closet. It looks awesome, though. All different brands and colors and they still smell like the snus that formerly consumed them.

I assumed he meant the bits of thicker paper that you stick in the 'filter' area when you roll a spliff...
