Should Swedish Match North America GIVEAWAY A FREE PRISMASTER??

I suspect the people were using it wrong. I'm guessing they were throwing it in their bottom lip, and it was instantly turning to mud. A detailed pamphlet would teach people everything they need to know about lös snus. The Prismaster can go to hell AFAIC. I'd rather see a discount IceTool. Something that bridges the quality of a ghetto IceTool, and the real IceTool. Maybe make it out of nylon....

I think a less exspensive Ice-tool would generate more sales. I never connected with los, so I just didn't want to throw down $40. I'm sure it's nice, but I probably would have paid $10 for a "cheaper" one.

Tom. Seriously. Got to Walgreens and ask the pharmacist for a syringe. They'll likely give you one OR probably charge u like .99 cents.... It's a 5ml but cut the tip - works awesome. Then you will want to upgrade to a nice stainless 3ml or so icetool after a couple weeks or so.

Walgreen's has 3ml syringes for just 30 cents a pop. Better choice in my view unless you need a whopper sized pris.

Holy crAp! I didn't know this... Oh well, back in the day, they did give me the 5ml for free. :-)

The Prismaster sucks. Even a 3ml "ghetto tool" is infinately better.
And IMHO the problem newbies have with Los is the

I have maybe one open can of los snus in the fridge at a time. I use snus perhaps 3 times a day these days, and sometimes los just doesn't make the cut into that schedule, so I can't justify buying an icetool. I work in a pharmacy and always forget to snag a free baby syringe from the counter, so on the semi-rare occassion that I use los, I use the prismaster, which projects an awkward semi-compact clump of snus into my lip. I mold it into a more comfortable shape with my tongue, and everyone's happy.
As for General loose crashing and burning, its no surprise to me. It sucks because that was my original los snus and I always kept a can around since I could buy it at the tinder box. The people who worked there told me once that the only time they sold a significant quantity was when some swedish guys came into the shop. They even did an impromptu demonstration for the people at the shop on how to properly use los. I referenced the people there to getsnus or Northerner (back when they were separate) and showed them where they could order some prismasters for dirt cheap and try to promote the los with them. Of course, they didn't try it. Fingers crossed that General Original and White don't go the route of Los.

1. Americans will probably never completely accept snus. In general, most of it tastes pretty horrible, and it is too salty. general wintergreen was a step in the right direction, but not completely. What they need to do is make dip spitless.
2. Americans will never accept los. Its cut too fine.
3. My local merchant who sells snus, doesn't sell it well. When I went there, some of the loose was all dried out and turned into a brick.
