Here's the response I got from SM. Looks like this is just the decision of your local B&M store. Maybe they'd likely be willing to order you a roll if you prepaid? It'll be interesting to see once the PACT goes through how much of a price difference there is btwn online ordering and local purchasing.

        1. I cannot specifically comment on our expansion plans for the US. At this point, only General Snus is available in the US market.
        2. Loose snus is still currently available to all of our brick and mortar stores. Our retail partners make decisions as to whether or not they choose to carry specific varieties, but all six varieties of General labeled for US sales will continue to be available for sale to our retailers in the US market. Please ask them to stock it, I am sure they will be more than happy to do so.

Good Deal. The tobacco stores are last resort but I better go and buy a few cans here and there so they dont cancel the whole line.

I do that every week. Last time, I asked if they were going to keep stocking it. They said, "Yea, it sells pretty fast".

I had, over the last 2 months bought almost half of what they had in stock at the rate of about 2 cans a week. LOL

So, it seems to be working

There's a tobacco store I go to when I'm not in the mood to order online, and they have a nice general fridge. I bought an slightly out of date can of LOS from them, but the last time I went, they had some nice in-date General LOS, but only one can... I didn't think to ask the guy who works there, but it's looking like LOS actually sells at this place, so maybe it sells better at some places (or areas) better than others.

I'd say that the best thing to do right now for us is to buy some at stores in our area some as well as ordering online, so that if something crazy happens with the people we order from, we'll know where we can at least get some General.

Yeah, it'll be really interesting to see how much a can will cost when ordered online vs purchased in store once the PACT takes effect. I'm sure it'll vary state by state due to taxes, but I wouldn't be surprised if it became more economical to purchase locally than online in some areas.

I just swung by my local brick and mortar store and they indeed did have General los and said that it is selling quite well.
