When one is half way through their can of loose snus, should the snus be packed with a spoon or something to level out the hight of what is left in the can?

Yes, it's not necessary. It sounds somewhat reasonable, but I've never done it and never had the idea to do so. I fear it might even quicken the drying of the snus.

True dat! Even if your snus does dry out, you can add a couple drops of water or your favorite alcohol (mine is single malt whiskey). I guess this likely belongs in the 'Snus Tricks' section, but oh well.
